I actually bought an NES about a year ago. I got contra and remembered the code no problem. I also got wizards and warriors.. Another one of my favorites is Adventure Island. Other epic win games include ikari warriors, kid Icarus, duck tales, skate or die, I could go on and on... Ok time to hit eBay and get more of my NES favorites. Ikari Warriors 2 pwned so hard. Rygar was awesome too. I have already gotten over 30 games. Actually I have about 65 but I'm not keeping them all and I have some dupes. I have an extra Contra, Duck Tales, Zelda, mike Tyson and a few others. Also Rad Racer kicked ass. Song 1 FTW

I love NES gaming! Old skool to the core even have an 8bit Mega Man tattooed on my arm. Not got a console (need to pick one up) but do play using emulators. Some of my favourites apart from the obvious, Ballon Fight, Gumshoe, Ice Climbers I bought balloon fight for Wii U virtual console for 30 cents a few days ago. Mega Man rules. Those carts are the most expensive on ebay.

TECMO SUPER BOWL!!! My brother and I still play it every 6 months or so and 1 out of every 10 times we play it leads into a fist fight. Also, how sad is it that I remember the code to Tyson and have not played in decades? 007-373-5963 Here is a great link if you don't own an NES, but want to play almost all the games. www.virtualnes.com/list/a.htmlI'll check out this link for some of the games that cost a hundred or more...like duck tales 2. Me and my bro would fight all the time too. It was awesome

Where in the hell in the Castlevania franchise on your list? jk ... I would have to say that Ninja Gaiden is on par for most dificult game as well... They both are rediculous. I haven't picked up any Castlevania games yet. Although, I just played through Castlevania 2 about a month ago in Wii Virtual Console. I love that game, it was way ahead of it's time. Battletoads is on a whole other difficulty level. I've beaten Ninja Gaiden 1 & 2. They are very hard but not impossible. I played a little of Ninja Gaiden too...those fuggin birds.

So I recently got an itch to play the old school NES. Since then I've picked up a console and some games. NES stuff is still pretty cheap.
I've been playing the s**t out of Mike Tyson's Punch Out, Contra, Tetris, Shadowgate, Battletoads and some others.
I can still breeze right through Contra, but Battletoads and Tyson are harder than I remember. I never beat Battletoads, but I could beat Tyson. Battletoads has to be the hardest game ever made.
Anyone else into NES gaming?

I wanted to start a thread about which GPK(s) are considered underrated or often forgotten about although they should be classics and are great pieces of GPK art.....a couple that I can think of off the top of my head are Woody Allen/Holly Wood/Oak Kay and Hip Kip/Walt Witless......it's a shame these characters are not often represented in any GPK merchandise or even mentioned anywhere......or even thought of!! What GPK do you guys feel are often underrated and forgotten about? Those are two great GPKs, particularly Oak Kay. A couple others I can think of are: 176 Bill Ding/Condo Minnie 374 Swiss Kris/Cheesy Chandra Those are just a couple that come to mind. I also think Bea Sting from OS6 is an awesome card and looks like it belongs in OS1 because of the simplicity of it. I really like it also. *Thanks to Barren Aaron for the images I stole to post here It's obvious with BNS that Topps forgot Swiss Kris too.

Very cool Jake. It must be really neat to see your old concepts being used in actual sets after all of these years. You had quite a few in the magnet set and BNS1. Well deserved props my friend.

I just got back from seeing it and must admit that I thought it was fantastic and I wasn't bored at all. My only complaint would be I hated Bane's voice and you already know I despise Batman's voice. When they had dialogue together it was absolutely ridiculous and hilarious how stupid they both sounded. Catwoman stoled the show to me! I'll have to give the other two a chance sometime since I liked this one so much. I've only seen them once. I will give this a 4. It would be a five if their voices didn't sound so dumb. I find it really distracting. I thought Bale dialed back the Batman voice a little in 3. I had trouble understanding Bane in some scenes, he sounds like Sean Connery from the SNL Jepoardy skits. Catwoman was great.
