Yeah, take it from a Jay decay and dead Ted nut....that's way too much for the final. Awesome and would be a dream to own, but no way I sell my house for a piece of paper, lol.

Thank you for your interest in DEAD TED / JAY DECAY. I understand your concern and request, however, Ted is locked tight in a museum storage vault, and is not readily accessible at the moment. The image I posted is an actual scan of the painting, and not a stock photo (send me a photo of your contact info and I'll send you back the actual scan of DEAD TED). With that said, the scan doesn't come close to the magnificence of the actual painting. The precise details of the piece are much sharper, the colors more saturated, and the technique & relief texture of the moon is nothing short of miraculous. I, myself, can't imagine how John Pound pulled off the incredible lighting technique and the miraculous (seemingly glowing) moon. He was definitely in the zone when painting this masterpiece.
As far as the certificate of authenticity is concerned, I put directly in the listing that the painting comes with the COA. Therefore it will, or eBay will refund your purchase price. I have the COAs for DEAD TED, TOMMY TOMB, SECOND HAND ROSE, and several other GPKs, and since they are all signed and alike, I know they are authentic.
My advice to you is, if you can easily afford this painting, then try to buy it. DEAD TED is a major superstar of a very large and important art collection, and is both spectacular and highly sort after. Whomever is willing to take the biggest leap of faith will end up with the grand prize: an incredible heirloom and a bone fide worldly treasure!

Here's how I interpret that response:
"Hello I have a painting that is more valuable than many of your homes, and almost certainly every one of your vehicles. However it is too much personal effort to go to the vault and take pictures of this item. Why should I put any effort into an auction worth more than most people make in a year?"
That's the lamest answer ever. If someone can't bother to show more images of that kind of loot, shame on them.

If you have a rare item you are trying to sell on eBay for nearly 2000, at least center the damn thing in the holder and get a good picture. That's just lazy.

Well, I know who got that last wrapper from auto lover for 2000 and I saw it in person and it has super bright neon colors like it would glow in the dark. That one would be worth it in my opinion but the one on eBay right now is all f'ed up looking...nowhere near the 2000 level condition wise.
