Damn. Hopefully they're saving the best for last. We haven't seen NN, AB, or DT listed yet. Surely the collector had at least one of these in their massive BK collection. If they DID save the best for last and auction a Nasty Nick or Adam Bomb BK it could be a hell of thing to watch the last 2 minutes! |

I don't know, I think this is more like a box crack scenario maybe. If you think about it, there have been doubles of a bunch of cards. Why would a collector buy doubles like that? Just to have them? It seems like whoever is supplying the cards is opening packs and thats why we're seeing a lot of common ones and doubles and stuff, right? We could figure this out.. 4 stickers per pack times unknown packs per box equals cards per box...then compare that to the number of cards in all the lots from autolover.... |

Big time bummer on the card selection. I was hoping/dreading a Dead Ted showing up. Even if I was unable to buy one, it would have decided once and for all what people value it at. Clearly there are people with more money than I have (or at least one) that wanted it in the past.
Would have been interesting to see who popped up looking for another one on Ebay.
Oh well, another avenue I can consider dead for now. The hunt goes on!
ps - good luck if anyone bids on the wrapper, it is a neat item for those wrapper collectors out there!

I got a few grand to spare. Enough to buy 3 good finals actually. I don't dabble in foreign GPK but that wrapper looks real cool and in mint shape. It is after all probably the holy grial of GPK wrappers. I got my eye on it. I put a few bids on it upping the tag. Might try to go higher if it doesn't hit my limit.

I expect nothing less than a victory on that auction if you've got that kind of expendable income sitting around...we all know there's no ANS8 coming so you might as well! ;-) I got a few grand to spare. I have scored some of my favorites pieces so far. Can't wait for my next one in a few months. As for making money off of GPK, there are definitely better ways of investing no doubt, but being able to do it with your hobby is kinda fun. |
