The two best movies of the 80's are The Karate Kid and The Goonies, period!! (Drop the Mic) Goonies...yep! But is Karate Kid better than Back To The Future, The Last Starfighter, Ghostbusters, The Lost Boys, Indiana Jones, etc., etc. ? That's a tough one...maybe even impossible for me to rank!

All great Movies!! You forgot E.T. The 80's was the best for everything, movies, music, toys.......the list goes on and on and on. And then the 90's came along and screwed it all up lol.

And don't forget Stand By Me. It may not be as action-packed as the others but is the best coming of age movie of all time.

I threw in another gem from the 80's last night "Pumpkin Head". Man they just don't make stuff like this anymore 80's horror was the best.

Just had an 80's morning.... original Robocop and Predator films.
These ŵere my favourite films of the decade, even though they were released towards the end of it.
Should have quit while they were ahead, none of the sequels, additions to franchises or reboots are a patch on these two classics
Better still, even the wife likes them so she didn't moan about them

Is anyone a fan of Maze Runner? Saw the second one in the theater twice. I really wish they would have cast Dylan O'Brien as Spider-Man.

I haven't had a chance to catch the second movie yet. Is it better than the first? Last movie I saw was Mission Impossible Rouge Nation. It was really good.

Just as good as the first if not better. Doesn't seem to be as successful as the first which I'm shocked by. My fav movies this year are probably Furious 7, Maze Runner, and Ant Man. Terminator was damn good too. No Escape is a great movie as well. Thought The Visit was a dumb movie.

I was surprised by the first Maze Runner, tbh I wasn't expecting that much from it, but was pleasantly surprised and watched it a couple of times within a few days. Can't wait for the second one to be released on DVD

Just finished the great 80s classic, Transylvania 65000. I still enjoyed it after all these years.

I liked the Martian as well. There are a few good space movies in recent years if you haven't yet watched them all. Intersteller, The Martian, Gravity. I'll watch those again at some point and in that order. Kind of like: going to space, leaving space, and landing

There is a movie coming out for it soon (Speilberg is involved) but there is no way it'll be able to contain all of the 80's awesomeness that this book contains. I fuggin HATE reading, and I couldn't put the book down.

I've always been a fan of N.W.A. and Straight Outta Compton brought me back to the early nineties (9-deuce son!!) when The Chronic came out and Dre & Snoop had beef with Eazy-E. If u remember they dissed E hardcore in the Dre Day video. Very cool that Ice Cube's son portrayed his father in the film. He looks just like him! Highly recommended. I give it two nickel-plated nines up!

This has to be my all time favorite, the mighty Samurai Cop!!! Kind of shows you where my taste is at . It takes a special kind of movie to be a complete and utter failure in absolutely every aspect of filming. Yes that NES music in the background is the real soundtrack to the movie. Enjoy responsibly.

what a crazy movie lol, have to watch this now since seeing the funny reviews I was surprised to see they made Samurai cop 2 through kick starter. Did you have a chance to watch Samurai cop 2? Is that worth getting? ✌🏻️ Samurai Cop 2 is a pretty decent bad movie, so worth checking out, but not nearly the level of the first one. The main difference is with Samurai Cop they were trying to make a good movie and every aspect happened to be a complete and total failure. The entire movie is full of unintentional comedy due to poor editing, writing, horrible framing (paper mache lion??), terrible delivery. In part 2 they knew they were making a s**t film so its less organic, they are fully aware of how bad this will be. The original director, writer, producer dude (now deceased) was trying to make a masterpiece so his failures come off funnier. Some funny stuff about Samurai Cop (I know way too much about this movie and I don't get to talk about it much so indulge me a bit lol) 6 months after they finished shooting they called Joe back for some re-shoots and he cut his hair really short. So they got him this terrible wig, also he didn't know that the re-shoots happened to be about 1/3 of the movie. Another great part is all the reaction shots for Frank (his partner) were filmed separate from the scenes and he had no idea what he was reacting too. Good example is when the guys arm gets chopped off Frank reacts like he stepped in gum. Anyway I'm rambling now, I'll leave with this, both movies are on Amazon Prime have at it

LoL the wig was the first thing I was going mention, it was so girly looking and during one of the fight scene it actually came off and you see the other fighter putting it back on. oh they call him samurai he speaks fluent Japanese, nope! and the fighting scenes were comical the uzi scene as they were getting shot up, the sword play was so bad as well lol, i was surprised to find out that there where no night scenes during the movie as they could not afford lighting and how they used his office for multiple scenes, now i haven't watched the full movie yet but I'm glad you told me i can find it on amazon, hope to watch it this weekend and let you know how that went

There is a GPK cameo in the movie Popstar: Never Stop Stopping. It's about 25 mins in during a concert.
I think the movie is a parody of that Justin Bieber documentary.
Anyway, I enjoyed the movie and it had some really funny songs and gags in it.
Here is the song from the movie. I couldn't find the actual movie scene.
