I saw Inception last night, and it blew me away. One of the best movies I've ever seen!

I saw The Expendables and Scott Pilgrim vs the World on Saturday. It's been a long time since I pulled a double header. Judging by the box office, nobody on here saw Scott Pilgrim. Here's a quick review of both of the movies: The Expendables: Awesome action scenes, weak plot and spotty acting. Which is exactly what I was looking for in a 80's type action movie. Lots of cool killing. Scott Pilgrim: Boring dialog but awesome fight scenes and videogame references. It's worth seeing just for the fight scenes. I actually felt way out of place watching this movie, even being a nerd. People around me were dying laughing but me and my friends just looked around at them like they were high. The humor sucked, kind of like Napoleon Dynamite suck. Luckily the action scenes kick major ass.

I saw Back to the Future (aka the greatest movie of all time) on the big screen when AMC did the 25th Anniversary Re-release a few weeks ago. It kicked ass and I got a free poster and a little Save the Clock Tower flyer. Got a frame and have it up in my room now. ;D

i like this section, as it gives me things to watch that maybe i hadn't heard of or forgot about. i think maybe subcategorized genres may be a good idea also......for those comedy junkies like myself so they could just see other movies people suggest that may have flown "under the radar"
tonight i'm going to be watching a movie called Tucker and Dale vs Evil, i'll chime in tomorrow night and let everybody know how this comedy/horror movie was. if anybody's seen it, chime in also.

Did anybody see The Avengers? I loved the part when Hulk put his fist out and Thor went flying. Hawkeye was so cool!

Just saw Avengers I thought it was really good and exciting. Spider-man looks very promising. Even though before I saw the trailer I was asking why should there be a new one? It seems they have the right stuff with most of these movies now-a-days. The right actors and scripts and directors. GIJoe looks actually interesting. I haven't even seen the previous one or two if there are more than one. We'll see.

I liked them for the most part but things like casting, organic web and the really long Aunt May parts brought it down for me. I really want to see this new one to see if they can do better than the last trilogy

I really want to see this new one to see if they can do better than the last trilogy I didn't mind the first 2 Spider-Maguire. I think the acting could have been better and Dunst didn't do anything memorable. It was the first time you saw some really good human special effects. The 3rd was all hype and BS. They killed Venom's persona which would have brought so much more to the Spider-Man myth. Raimi was just tired of doing them. I was watching a piece of GIJoe and normally I don't like to waste my time with those movies because it's not really strongly based on anything more than the idea of the cartoon, the first one looks a Ghost-Rider 1 kind of movie. The kind you have on just to have something playing in the background while you work or do something. Bad movies are good for that kind of stuff. The second does look to be better. It's funny back then if the 1st one sucked they just scrapped the whole thing. Now-a-days they can make crapping 1sts and there still can be hope for another one.

Too bad the Joe movie got pushed back to March 2013 to "make it 3D"....I suspect this movie really sucked and the competition was stout this summer.....

I just got back from seeing it and must admit that I thought it was fantastic and I wasn't bored at all. My only complaint would be I hated Bane's voice and you already know I despise Batman's voice. When they had dialogue together it was absolutely ridiculous and hilarious how stupid they both sounded. Catwoman stoled the show to me! I'll have to give the other two a chance sometime since I liked this one so much. I've only seen them once. I will give this a 4. It would be a five if their voices didn't sound so dumb. I find it really distracting.
