I noticed there wasn't a thread for NZ although mentioned quite a bit in the Australia thread i feel NZ deserves their own. I personally do not know much about the NZ and Aus sets so feel free to publish all the nice facts, figures and pictures.

NZ and AUS had separate S1 cards but S2-4 were exactly the same but I think the wrappers may have been different. NZ S1 had 6 variants and a few different names but AUS S1 had 30+variants. You can tell the 2 apart as NZ has the curved banner like in US OS and AUS had a straight banner. All 5 NZ/AUS series were smaller cards like the UK versions
All were manufactured in NZ

Directly from the net: "In New Zealand the 6th and 7th series' were combined and renumbered and released as a test set. Once they took off, we got 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th from about November 1988 thru to late 1991. But they were renamed The Garbage Gang for whatever reason." Someone could confirm that there is a New Zealand test?

Someone could confirm that there is a New Zealand test? This could be a reference to the UK 6th series? I have heard before that UK cards were sold in Aus/NZ to test the market. Wayne covers this here: www.wgpkr.com/GPK/AustNZ/

Hi UkRob, yes it's probably a reference to the uk 6th series. I've sent and received other 2 messages from the author of this post: The first message that i've received is: 1)"We got the UK 6th series (US 6th and 7th series') to test the market, they sold well and then we had those there.". And the second 2)"Sorry, it was a variation set. Meaning selected cards were taken from both the US 6th and 7th not both complete sets combined which I may have given the impression of in my post.". Cause my english is very poor i've not understood if it's a simple uk 6th series or it's a test set, cause in his first post he said that "In New Zealand the 6th and 7th series' were combined and renumbered and released as a test set". Wayne on his site said that is a simple uk 6th set

The album isnt a GPK album, I used to put all my stickers in scrapbook albums and date them as well as how many stickers were in the album in total, sounds really sad now, but I wasnt a total neard at school.
