Well I found out this info some weeks ago but still have not been able to confirm it, at least mine (var set) is not copyrighted so I wonder any one has heard/seen anything related to this?

What are you refering to? This is about the australia /nz series 2 wrapper? The cards hold no copyright on mine. I have a complete variation plus a lot of singles .what I wonder is why the peel here arrow for this serie is facing towards the image and not the corner like other uk /aus/nz series. Thing I see from the wrappers is that al sets are from nz but some are for the australian market. Like the series 3 wrapper has the sealed edge from left to right and not pressed vertically. Some of my loose series 3 I know are from nz and not Australia because they are with sealed edge damage.

I have the complete aus2/ nz2 set and i have never seen any card with copyright

Adam bomb= AUS2
Live mike = NZ2

Complete NZ on top row. Correct me if i'm wrong but Isent that regina pack (top left) the first series for australia. Or do the hold curved banner cards? The test set is has the same wrapper as the nz pack only hold uk cards. That second row first pack what kind of cards are in side that pack?. Very interesting. I only saw that pack in the belgian test set. Dident know it was also a aus test set pack.

Perhaps I've got the first 2 left packs (top and bottom) the wrong way round, although the bottom left first pack is a GPK pack with uk GPK cards imported by Australia. UKRob mentions it also as an Aus test pack in page 1 of Aus thread. See back of pack for "imported by Australia" details. Please correct me if I'm incorrect as its crucial obviously, so need to amend/retake if anything needs fixing. Appreciate the questions! Let me know

First pack top row is the aus series 1 pack. The testset pack is gg1 topps logo with garbage pail kids packs. The rest of the nz is in good order. I saw that post but i believe it was only a wrapper so maybe the made a mistake but if yours hold uk cards then its most definitely a aus test set pack. Very cool to see.
Gets me thinking that maybe at some point topps ireland had those spare aus test set wrappers and used them for the belgian test set release. Or maybe run out of the normale solid wrappers. I never did understand why the belgian test set had 2 variations.

I have something special to share with the UG today 😍 🇳🇿 Grab your passports because today we're headed to New Zealand!!! No, we're not checking out the Lord of the Ring's tour, but that would be epic! Today's Foreign GPK adventure takes us to the North Otago Museum in Oamaru, New Zealand. This pic was taken in 2001 and was taken by collector in New Zealand, Steve, that I met via eBay. We got to talking and he mentioned a Regina museum dedicated to all of the trading card releases that Regina produced in the 80s, Batman, Ghostbusters, and last but not least........The Garbage Gang!!! Check it out! There's even a pic of the elusive GG Calendar that is offered on the back of New Zealand 3 wrappers 😍🇳🇿 If anyone has a pic of the NZ3 wrapper please post it! If I'm ever on that side of the world I'll def be checking out the museum if it's still open. I've included pics of: -Inside of Regina Museum -Live Mike promo poster, GG3 calendar offer, and Adam Bomb promo sticker -Close-up of GG3 calendar Any New Zealanders up here ever been? Any info would be awesome. 🇳🇿

I'm hoping one of the NZ collectors up here has more info and a better pic of the calendar. The blown up pic I used I cropped from the tri-pic, very blurry!

Thanks for sharing! Who's ready to go to New Zealand? Lord of the Rings tour combined with a visit to the Regina museum..... :drools: One day for sure! There's a card shop in Brisbane, Australia that currently stocks all 4 series of Australian Garbage Gang too. Would have to hit that up too. 😝 Here's a pic of the back of the NZ Series 3 wrapper with the GG Calendar offer. It seems stickers have been stuck to the calendar as per the instructions on the wrapper 😵 Must be really rare if a museum couldn't find an unalterd version to display and settled for one with stickers!! Although blurry, one dead give-away is that it has a June Moon sticker on it. This was released in UK Series 6, and was also part of a market test release in NZ. Good eye GPKTILLDEATH! 🕵️

These are most likely on display at the Regina museum too. 😍 Here's the Regina link: www.tradingcards-brisbanecards.com/Regina-Trading-Cards.html

Can't wait to see some pics :-) I've been told it costs $25NZD to take a pic of the items on display. Steve from NZ sent me another pic from 2005 that a friend of his took when he visited the museum. I guess they take them off the wall upon request. I thought I had posted this pic already but totally spaced! They have GG3 uncut sheet as well. Let us know what else u find in there!!

Any chance u got the bottom of the NZ1 box? Never seen the bottom before, or a sealed one 🤤. Hopefully it was only $25NZD for all those pics and not each one! 😜

Hi Luis The back of the poster was plain white, I didn't get any pics of the bottom of the series 1 box, but I do own an empty box that I can send you a pic of. There was no mention of any payments, just no flash photography

A collector once told me that a sealed NZ/Australian box wasn't known. I guess there is at least one out there, the one you saw might be the only one. Very cool pictures.
