Hi guys,
I'm very excited to create my own collection thread. Its been a long time coming for me.
I love foreign GPK. The realisation (only) 3 years ago the things I loved and traded as a kid in the playground, were actually made by other very different cultures, but for other kids like me, who must of shared that interest of seeing art made to parody life, to make life fun and not take things to seriously.
So I set myself some rules when I bought my first few foreign items:
1. Collect every sticker, album, & packs from every country
2. Include sets up to and including All New Series 1 'ANS1'.
3. New card sets beyond 2005 are not special to me, as new countries were not added after that time.
4. It must be a complete numerical collection, any variations shown are additional to the main 'complete' collection
5. All sticker albums must be complete (as IMHO its technically too hard to amass a 'complete' global collection of separate cards and empty albums)
6. Make sure every transaction I do leaves us both very happy with the deal, so it stays fun.
So I'm 97% complete I think, and would REALLY appreciate the friendly style of the UG helping me out!
50 albums (complete global set)
95 packs & wrappers (complete global set bar GermanTest & Peru-both only exist in photos as far as I know)
11,201 stickers would be "complete" to me (e.g not including gum wrappers etc)
only 330 missing. (trade thread up soon)
I'll post 3 sections of photos: By country + items/miscellaneous + rare close ups
Ill go Americas > Europe > Australasia > ME & Asia

Thanks LuCypher, and yes I agree, Colombia is one of the countries that gave me the most surprises, fun, risk, and reward from a long chase. Who knew it would compete with Italy on how many releases (and so how many Colombian kids demanded more and more!) it would produce (yes yes I know bootleg, not official) but still a dedicated GPK country not matter if Topps didn't approve of their 'custom' sets.
