Quick question. Since I'm generally an art collector (sketches, color roughs, final artwork), how much original artwork was done solely for foreign GPK cards? Also, do you know which artists were used? Thanks!

Quick question. Since I'm generally an art collector (sketches, color roughs, final artwork), how much original artwork was done solely for foreign GPK cards? Also, do you know which artists were used? Thanks! I would love to find this out also. I've never been able to establish who does the art-copies of the known characters for foreign ANS & Merlin (-so more modern worse variations of some OS characters), or unofficial bootleg foreign releases, where as I assume "official" Topps foreign releases use the same art as you collect as why change the real deal), so I cant help I'm afraid. Will remember to let you know if I find out.

I love this first original B&M wrapper before the more official branded B&M variations came out. Understated.

My Louco singles. Lovely aren't they. Moe Skeeto and ZeakFreak are characters from my childhood memories so I love those 2 the most.

I won an auction for the complete loose set, empty album and mint box but the seller cancelled the sale bc he expected it to sell for more. I then won it again when he relisted it and he cancelled it again lol.

All I can say is WOW! Amazing collection of foreign GPK! It always amazes me that a phenomenon that I as a kid considered a uniquely American really was and is a worldwide hobby.

Love getting this reaction! Your so right, it always amazes me too how crazy a kid's collecting demands spread around the world, so many different cultures, but all the same kind of crazy kids needing more puke, guts and bogeys to stick one up to the world and giggle. cheers Russ

Colombia GPK - dodgy,, rare, complex, brash, prolific, and one more rare at least. and secretive, with little challenges like this..... Dont look at the actual backs, check out the old bits of yellow wrapper stuck to each one. This is what I love, the mystery of finding out what the full wrapper looked like, why are their so many different styles in Colombia, and where they hell can I find a complete one! Love these type of foreign challenges.

These 2 albums are great. Again took me about 2 years to locate them after I saw them first in a photo in UKM's rare item thread so long ago. Was hooked finding on them from then on and was actually 2 of the last 4 items I sourced.
