Feedback : Beyond Positive Type of Transaction: Gift Size of Transaction: Immeasurable Russ was nice enough to give me a Cheap Toy to compliment a sketch. I was impressed that he took the time to pick out something that really went well. This a great example of what a class act he is and how people like him make this such a great community of collectors. Your generosity is much appreciated.

Two pick ups from the past few weeks. The first is probably the only shaped sketch I will get from FB2. This guy probably did the best of the shaped sketches but if you figure out what he is doing, I suppose we could all do it. In most of the sketches I have seen he just really traces the Adam Bomb face to get a good GPK face. Not a bad idea. The second here another 1 of a kind Lynch. I might not have cared so much but this one is of Popeye. We all know Popeye is a mutherfuggin G, so I had to go hard to bring this one home. Never mind the pack sealing crimps on the bottom. It looks a lot cleaner than I thought it would, and now it has a happy home.

Though shark boy's comment was it served a purpose for me. I don't dig back through threads much so it brought this one back to light. Great read with breakfast and it was very interesting. Thanks Russ.

Those Pings are awesome and inspiring! That completely changes my opinion of his sketch card work. Glad to see all the smiles and that you guys had a great time. I especially like the cross your arms if your gay group shot you guys took with Diaz and Ping.

My Walton return came in the mail yesterday. Pictures don't do the painted cards justice. There is a certain depth that just doesn't come through. This is one of my favorite OS1 cards. Partly because as a kid a girl in my fourth grade class had it and she wouldn't trade me for it and really because it is one of the handful of the series that has background elements. I love the color contrasts too.

I picked up the left sided tongue on the Jay Lynch Junkfood John from FB1. The first of my FB2 Sketches. I really like what Wheaton did here. Not very GPK at all but a pretty cool style. Plus Bugged Betty/ Green Jean doesn't get done a lot.

1) I'm jealous I am not going.
2) Somebody look out for Russ he sounds like he might get a little OOC.

Some Parody cards. Seeing the Palin makes me think of the possibility of a set of notable figures from each year (al la the Mad Magazine insert). I'm sure it would get old after a while and you would run thin on subjects but I'm sure the first run or two would be really successful.

What I had meant was that there were other kinds of similar albums such as this and the collectors in this culture (or kids) stuck them in there this way. So say one kids saw his big brother glue his baseball or football (proper) cards in an album this way and that is the way he learned how to do it.
Don't know if that makes sense but those are my thoughts.

Maybe they were a tight nit group of collectors and they got together and decided that was the way it should be done OR that is the known way to attach such things to an album down there and that wasn't their first rodeo.

Feedback Type: Positive Type of Transaction: Purchase Size of Transaction: Medium Comments: Adam sold me 25 OS1 singles and I have to say that they were about the most consistent lot of OS1 cards I have seen. Overall the centering was very good and the cards were minty! His price was very reasonable as well.
Thank You for the awesome extras!!!
I'm going to stick those snotty signs around Breckenridge this weekend.

Awesome items TCT. Love how the Flush Fred is just a blatant GPK copy. Cool that most/ all of those were sold out of coin operated sticker machines as well and not in packs. Hey Fox, Yep! The Trash Kan Gang is a blatant ripoff....These are from 1986 Here are the others I have in my collection: *Sorry I didn't realize the scan got cutoff at the bottom. All I have to say is WOW. Thanks for sharing. I love to see this kinds of stuff. It would be great to talk to the artist that drew these just to see what the deal was besides just cashing in on the craze at the time. I may have to subscribe to the wrapper.

Are you the original owner on the Mag...curious as to how that was distributed. Very Fanzine-ish.
