Kind of an eclectic mix of games. Festers Quest is an oddball. Nice to see Gradius in there.
Can you get new games? Come to think of it I remember seeing the stand up version of these.

What games does it have? How do you / can you change games?
Great find Glock!

Glad to see you on the board!
GPK Dave is the truth. I asked him to do some cards for me and they arrived very quickly.

I asked GPK Dave to do a couple of cards for me and he sent me these beauties. Having not seen anything but his own characters and mash-ups, I wasn't sure what to expect. GPK Dave delivered. Thanks man! ;D

I'm certainly no photographer but I should be able to do better than this. We'll see if I can't get these in some natural light where they really pop. I was so excited I had to share though. Neon chain. Nasty Nick. Act like you know. I'm going to build a nice wooden shadow box for these and see if I can hang it on the wall like a picture.

Awesome! There might be a re-frame in order to put the color and the pencil side by side. I had looked at that piece a couple of times thinking about how to physically separate the characters but I can't see a way to make it work. Regardless, great add to your collection.

Thanks for the birthday well wishes guys, much appreciated. Shaun that Pete and twin and one of my favorites. They reside happily in my goodie box.
I wish I could find a way that I liked to display these sketch cards. I am just worried about sunlight and fading.

Here are some more pick-ups from the past few months. I do believe that this is the last of the "Common" Lynch sketches from FB1. Freddy doing his thing. Among some other loose OS1 cards, I picked up these two OPC cards in pretty good shape. I had also grabbed this unopened pack a while back. I asked the seller to send me one that was in good shape. Low and behold he sent me one showing Adam Bomb on the top card!

I have tenure. This was a joke, btw, as some of you know. I'm quitting collecting, an official announcement coming soon. Better not let your wife know. She will expect you to get all that "crap" out of the house.

The accepted best offer on the last one was $2,900... That's not so bad then. It was a decent looking box, just wonder if the packs were searched. What would they be searching for, it is a Fing box of OS 1?

I've always wanted to see an erotic set of GPK's, an X-rated fan set!!! Yep I can see it now.... Gloria Hole, Monie Shot and Rest Stop Raul. Sorry Jimbo didn't mean to hijack your thread. Delete at will.

I guess it comes down to what you are collecting for. If it is just for fun and it is not fun anymore than I don't see why anyone would continue on. It wouldn't mean you didn't like GPK anymore. Things as well as people change and that's ok. You certainly don't have to "collect" to be a part of the hobby.
I haven't bought but a few stray packs of anything new since FB1 (sketches aside) and I don't feel left out at all. I enjoy the new releases and look forward to them for better or worse. This keeps it an enjoyable hobby for me.
I hope you wouldn't bounce from the UG. Your old sage voice of reason would be missed.

It is all crooked in the frame too. Looks like they just slapped it in for the picture. I'm just gonna add that people should be weary of djbswift on eBay. www.ebay.com/itm/150998055382?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649I ordered this expecting the card in the picture and received some off center POS. I've had bait and switch problems with him before. He will make it right but just save yourself the hassle.

I was searching Craigslist for some games and came across this really cool pickup i scored for only 60 bucks. Some good titles and a sweet game & watch. Craigslist is the spot if you want to find games for cheap. photo by Strictlygpk, on Flickr Yep, those Game and Watches are the Shiz. Some of them can bring some coin too. I playing other people's in school. Really like the actual wristband watch games too. Nice score Glock.

It is really not even that good of a concept. Not that funny. This looks like someone wanted to be made into a GPK and commissioned this. Great art though. I like looking at all the small people. $250 in my book and I don't know that I would buy it.

anyone else see the one thing in common that these two sketches share? The reflection pane on the bubble. That would be something to ask Jay about. I can remember ( or at least I convinced myself that I do)when that seemed pretty common on things but you don't see it much now. Pop Eye is one of my favorites too! Thanks HR.

Is this an actual garbage pail kid? I don't know. I don't mean all the background stuff. I'm talking about the original sketch. I have never really been a fan of ANS 4 sketch cards but when I saw this one I knew I had to add it to my collection. A big thanks to Spree for coming through with an awesome detailed ANS 4 Lynch. I had known that during the ANS 4 release you could send sketch cards back to artists to be souped up but it was cool to hear a little bit about it from someone who had done it. Thanks again and good luck in Florida.

Thanks!
It is 5x7 and consists of two pieces. One is white paper that looks like it has sort of random color blobs on it until you put the acetone (?) overlay on top which has the black line drawings on it.

I always thought the cat in the OS1 card was a nod to Heathcliff but I guess really, alleys are full of cats that eat trash with a bib and silverware. More Fred Wheaton awesomeness.

Cool idea. RPGs don't often get their due. It made me think of this: And reminded me that I have been waiting years for this game to come out. www.galactickeep.com/Looks like it is getting closer to being released.

Isn't that poster the bomb! So awesome I had to buy two! LOL When I look at it, I realize how small some of the original series are compared to today's releases. That is not a lot of characters.
