Awesome OS1 collection. Is that matte and glossy?
Looks really cool. I love the colors in OS1.

That display looks so clean, it belongs on a really nice sofa with the plastic still on it.
Very nice T.

Is that matte and glossy? Jimbo It's a mix. I would say a set of each but I'm short in the #1a card area and I'm sure a handful of others especially with the variations. Never checked though. I'm going to do a proper A/B sort with a condition hierarchy next chance I get. I'll see then.

Thanks to Matixones, Blacksunshine and christy1639 for helping boost the numbers here. Still looking for some that are minty as well centered but these certainly help the collection. Whats left of the golds. I'm about down to the keepers but any decent trades will be considered...especially if you got some OS1 singles.

Some Parody cards. Seeing the Palin makes me think of the possibility of a set of notable figures from each year (al la the Mad Magazine insert). I'm sure it would get old after a while and you would run thin on subjects but I'm sure the first run or two would be really successful.

Awesome stuff. I never thought about getting any of the sketch cards but the ones you have are really great and now I'm thinking I should try and track down a couple!

I picked up the left sided tongue on the Jay Lynch Junkfood John from FB1. The first of my FB2 Sketches. I really like what Wheaton did here. Not very GPK at all but a pretty cool style. Plus Bugged Betty/ Green Jean doesn't get done a lot.

Nice first pick up. Looking forward to seeing what others you end up with. How many FB1 Lynch's do you have now? Make sure you keep me in mind if you ever think about selling one of the 1 of a kind ones........either the shower head one.....or the puking one....... Great stuff!!

My Walton return came in the mail yesterday. Pictures don't do the painted cards justice. There is a certain depth that just doesn't come through. This is one of my favorite OS1 cards. Partly because as a kid a girl in my fourth grade class had it and she wouldn't trade me for it and really because it is one of the handful of the series that has background elements. I love the color contrasts too.

Two pick ups from the past few weeks. The first is probably the only shaped sketch I will get from FB2. This guy probably did the best of the shaped sketches but if you figure out what he is doing, I suppose we could all do it. In most of the sketches I have seen he just really traces the Adam Bomb face to get a good GPK face. Not a bad idea. The second here another 1 of a kind Lynch. I might not have cared so much but this one is of Popeye. We all know Popeye is a mutherfuggin G, so I had to go hard to bring this one home. Never mind the pack sealing crimps on the bottom. It looks a lot cleaner than I thought it would, and now it has a happy home.

Sweet cards!!! Yeah, I agree with ya on that artist who did the punch outs. He's the best of the lot regardless of his meathod. I also saw that Lynch card a while back on I think ebay and thought of you, cause it seemed like a 1 of a kind. I'm happy to see it found its way home to ya. Nice score!!

That is definitely one of the better shaped cards I've seen. So far, I've bought one from each artist.....the best I could find for each...but that's not saying a lot. I'll post mine once I actually have them all in hand. The Stormy Heather card is AWESOME!!!! That Popeye Lynch is also very sweet!!! You should post a pic of all your Lynch's together!!

Love the Stormy Heather card; the colors are so vibrant and it's amazing how close it resembles the original card!! The Popeye card is funny and well-done.. That anchor tattoo makes me smile!

So I suppose if your gonna collect GPK sketches you gotta have an Adam Bomb. I think three or four colors of this card have shown up. I like this one the best because it is about the same color as the OS1 wrapper. Thanks to Russ for hooking up the cheapy to go with the card. Later this summer the card and the CT will all sit together in a nice display case.

I do believe I had a hot pink tshirt about the same color that had a picture of max headroom on it, I used to wear it with my dope ass rude dog kicks. I was a trend-setter to say the least.

Here Are the last of my FB2 sketches. The Odd Todd was an impulse buy but I like it! I saw the Dave in other colors, but had to have it when it came through in the retro pink. One thing I looked at when considering this sketch as well as the others that were the same but in a different colors is did Fred leave white space between the black outline and the head. I thought this was the best job he did which was another reason I choose it...not that I had a choice at that point as the others were gone.
