I actually have Tommy the Who beta disc. Its weird seeing those things cuz they're like gigantic cds.
Have you guys seen the Mist? Being a huge King buff i was pretty excited but unfotunately the acting wasn't very good... at all. The movie sticks very well to the actual story except the end. The ending couldn't have been further from the written story if in the end everyone went surfing on bananas! I have to admit though, it did it justice for a movie and was 10 times more depressing!
has anyone seen Beowulf?

No Country For Old Men = Movie of the Year Awesome flick! Anton was one of the most disturbing characters I have seen in awhile. The Coen bros always do great work. The Mist was a great film even though the ending was predictable.

Don't see the Two-Face thing in Anton, personally. Guy's f**cking crazy. f**cking scary crazy. I haven't peed on myself like that since Blue Velvet. :evilblue: I'd even say it's my favorite Coen Bros. flick, even over Lebowski. Easily better than Fargo, regardless. Stunning direction.

I haven't peed on myself like that since Blue Velvet. Love Blue Velvet. Great Flick. I want to watch this. The only dumb thing is the villian has a Two Face wanna be complex. I don't get the connection? Is it because Tommy Lee Jones is in the movie or in one of the scenes Anton flips a coin?

Coin. I've tried to forget Tommy Lee being Two Face. I've tried to forget the whole Batman Forever movie I've tried to forget all the Keaton-Kilmer-Clooney Batman movies. The Bale Batman movie has been the only great one so far. The next Bale Batman w/ Ledger as the Joker will show everyone just how f**cking lame the Nicholson Joker was.

I like the first 2 Keaton ones and the last one was good to, but Batman and Robin was just dreadfull. None of the early Batman movies were dark enough for my tastes. I absolutley hated the Catwoman/Penguin one. Penguins with rockets attached to their heads? Christopher Walken as Dr. Emmet L. Brown. The Catwoman electric kiss. Keaton played a decent Batman but he's not even close Bale's level with the role. If they can turn a lame villian like the Scarecrow into something cool I have high hopes for the next one. I've seen pics of Ledge as the Joker. He looks awesome and he is an amazing actor so I know he'll be the Joker, not a Joker that acts like Jack Nicholson. In the end though, it's a Batman movie. The closer they can get to that old 90's Batman cartoon the better. Loved that cartoon.

I DO believe that Tim Burton did 1000x better than Joel-'let's-put-neon-EVERYWHERE'-Schumacher. :vomit:

Nico I'm going to post this here because the Cbox will be flooded in no time. The Dark Knight trailer - Bootleg form. I believe you can see this trailer before I Am Legend this weekend and I'm sure it'll be followed up on the official site soon. www.wwtdd.com/post.phtml?pk=3268The Heath Ledger's Joker makes Jack Nicholson's "Wait until they get a load of me" Joker look retarded. I love that these new Batman movies are staying extremely dark. NO FUGGIN PENGUINS WITH ROCKETS ATTACHED TO THEIR HEADS.

Personally, Michael Keaton is my fav Batman. Robin was the best thing when it comes to the two later Batman movies. I loved Michelle Pfeiffer as Cat Woman and Uma Thurman did a good job playing Poison Ivy.

I just wanted to recommend the series "Dexter" to anyone that hasn't heard about it. This show is incredible and well worth picking up. The 2nd season is currently running on Showtime but if you don't have Showtime you can pick up the 1st season on DVD now. My cousin was ranting and raving about how good it was during Thanksgiving. I was kind of skeptical of how good a Showtime series could actually be but I ended up picking it up anyway and I'm absolutely hooked. Check out some of the reviews on Amazon they are overwhelmingly positive and I concur. www.amazon.com/Dexter-Season-Michael-C-Hall/dp/B000Q6GUW0/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1198192833&sr=8-1

I generally don't participate in movie and show discussions, as I hardly watch any TV. Dexter is my exception, though. I LOVE this show! Seriously, Dontom is not lying when he says it's good.
