I'm upset that the trailers were cut. You see they're actually making Machete? ;D

You certain of that? Weinstein said otherwise in their press release that I reported.

I'd rather see the Eli Roth Thanks Giving trailer made into a film or the Edgar Wright Don't one

You certain of that? Weinstein said otherwise in their press release that I reported. On the back of the Death Proof box it says it has a trailer. I forget the name of that movie right now. The only trailers I remember are Machete and Thanksgiving.

Sorry, but the trailers are MIA still. I checked with my Weinstein rep. One or two trailers may appear, but Machete is definitely missing, as is Thanksgiving.

I loved both movies but I agree that the trailers make it. I'm waiting to buy the actual Grindhouse. Weinstein can suck my balls, I'm not giving them my money twice when the actual Grindhouse is in the works for HD. And Cory, sorry, but the trailers are MIA still. I checked with my Weinstein rep. One or two trailers may appear, but Machete is definitely missing, as is Thanksgiving. It's all good. I can always watch them here unedited. :lol1:

Grindhouse was awesome. I loved both movies, maybe Death Proof just a bit more. People complain that Death Proof was too talkie. Come one people it's a Tarantino film, that's what he does. He writes films with heavy dialogue. For me Grindhouse set the standard for the rest of the summer movies and nothing even came close to as entertaining. I was hoping Halloween would but that turned out to be disappointing. Robert Rodriguez had a competition at the SXSW festival in Austin this year. The competition was to make your own fake Grindhouse trailer. A friend of mine sent one in and he won. It's called Hobo With A Shotgun. The Canadian distributer for Grindhouse, Alliance Atlantis was so impressed with the trailer that they showed it nationwide with Grindhouse right before the fake Machette trailer. There might even be a feature lenght film of it. Here is the youtube link for the fake trailer Let me know what ya think. "Hobo With A Shotgun" that was pretty funny. I like that it goes there. It's sick camp. Best..........

Horror and Friday the 13th fans go see the movie Hatchet. Kane Hodder stars in it and the movie has great gore and kills.

Man, has anyone ever seen the Serpent and the Rainbow? That movis is creepy as hell! I just saw it for the first time the other day. Its also a Wes Craven film that was made shortly after the first Nightmare on Elm St. But this movie... was really creepy. Had some top notch visuals for its time too. If you horror fans have never seen it i HIGHLY recommend this film. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Serpent_and_the_Rainbow

Watched it Sunday, was ok but was dissapointed that they make a big thing about Robert Englund and Tony Todd being in it though, i won't say no more in case others want to watch it but it annoyed me :shame:

I just picked up the Planet Terror DVD at work. It's extended and unrated. There are two discs. There is an audience reaction feature. That should be cool to see. Also, the Machete trailer is on there.

I saw the Serpent and the Rainbow quite a while ago and thought it was very good. I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil movies and I wasn't disappointed when it comes to the third one. I didn't even know Robert Englund was going to be in the Hatchet movie. I thought it was cool he had a cameo in it. Bud from the Cosby Show was in it and I found him amusing. The titty girls annoyed me but the kills and gore made up for it. Kane Hodder plays the part of Ed Gein in a movie so I'm anxious to see that one.

That Ed Gein movie is well worth watching although if you take the size of Hodder and then look at real life pics of Ed Gein then its some big difference lol
