I rented the Blu-Ray for Taken last night. It was fuggin great. Liam Neeson's character doesn't f**k around for a split second. I laughed quite a few times at his all business attitude.
Did any of you see this movie yet?

I finally saw the Hangover! I'm not sure if I would consider it the #1 comedy of the summer, but definitely a must see... ! ...I also watched a "cam" version of Brüno. I thought the funniest scenes were: • Today on Richard Bay = • Psychic Milli Vanilli = • UFC with Straight Dave = -TCT

I took in a bit of actual theater time on Saturday and saw District 9. I was looking forward to seeing this movie all week. I personally didn't hate it or like it. I walked out after with a Cloverfield feeling!!! -TCT

I had zero interest in that movie from the start TCT. I saw Inglorious Basterds on Saturday. I felt let down that a movie titled Inglorious Basterds had only 30 to 45 minutes of screen time for them in a 2.5 hour movie. The Basterds were awesome and needed more screen time. There is way too much dialogue from boring characters that really didn't need to be in the movie. Some of the dialogue scenes were interesting though, namely the ones that involved the Nazi Colonel. Even though I felt ripped off by the severe lack of the Basterds being in the movie I can't say skip this one. Brad Pitt and his crew are great when they actually get their chance to shine so it's worth it just to see them.

I saw Inglourious Basterds and thought it was an amazing movie. I'm a big Tarantino fan though. I actually like all his dialogue! I've always liked exploitation films.

I do not, so I'll pass on that one. The long dialogue scenes are brutal to sit through... I don't remember what they talked about in Death Proof, but I definitely remember the conversations went on and on and on... and on. Yeah that scene in Death Proof was boring as hell and it happens right after that awesome head on bloody wreck.

I could have lived without the War Hero, Theater Owner, Actress, Englishman and Mike Myers character. Those stories could have been told in 5-10 minutes combined by simple flashbacks or side stories. That's not Tarantino's way though and that's why he's hit or miss with me.

I just watched a screener version of "Drag me to hell" www.imdb.com/title/tt1127180/I give it 3 out of 5 The only part a liked was the grave filling up with water scene. It reminded me of the swimming-pool scene in Poltergeist. -TCT

Saw 9 last weekend. It was average. The animation was top notch but the story wasn't. Movie is really short, like 75 or 80 minutes.

I'd give it a 4.5 out of 5 as a comedy. It laughed quite a bit, which is why I went to see it. The cameo in the movie was probably the best one I've seen in a long time.

A couple of friends and I finally saw Transformers: Revenge of the bullsh*t this weekend. What an f*cking mess? I held off reading this spoiler thread until I could see the movie and form my own opinion. In reality, I should have read this first then downloaded it. Cory, Barry, & LD hit the nail on the head! About a month ago when I was in Florida I bought my son a Burger King Transformers happy meal. The toy which happened to be Devastator had four construction vehicles for limbs and a hunched ape-like body. I knew then that this movie was going to be questionable. Devastator wrecking balls!!!!!!! If I would’ve seen that abomination earlier in the film, I would have walked out! -TCT Yep...I felt like the guy in Clockwork Orange with those things on his eyes. I never saw a movie that pissed me off so much and the fact that it make tons of money blows. Anyways I saw another pretty bad movie of the weekend and at least I was home and able to fast forward.... Devil Man....I tried taking off the dub and reading it with the Japanese subtitles and to no avail it sucks just as bad. It's like a bad Mighty Morphin power ranger movie. I didn't read the reviews and that was my bad. I thought it was going to be straight animation. Beware the cover and original character is cool, but not worth seeing. I rather watch Spawn and I hate that movie, too.
