I just dropped off Chris Mess to be framed and picked this up. Ripped ROSIE / Assembly LYNN v2.0. I did this painting just for my office. The unpublished original was one of the first GPK paintings I did for BNS1 and really wanted to revisit it.  |

Mate, that "Girl with a Pearl Earring" piece is fantastic!! It just feels like a genuine 80's GPK in my opinion. I've always loved the GPK's that have put their own spin on classic historical paintings like Mona Lisa OS2, Snooty Sam OS3, Earl Painting and Dangling Dolly both from OS5, Vincent Van Gone OS7 and Momma Mia OS9. If the concept and the art are done properly as they all are, just like the updated version of Rosie the Riveter you did recently...then you're on a winner! "Girl with a Pearl Earring" is absolutely another winner. It also makes me extra hopeful for the subset "Artistic Influence" for the 30th anniversary release. Awesome work Ping!
