The have a nice day is a really cool one and so is the take a gpk to lunch. Its odd the pieces you and cory got have 95 and #96 on the backs. From the interview pound did previously he said he painted 42 pieces for series #1 If those 2 were intended for series 1 that would make 43. The have a nice day to me looks more like a an os1. the face matches up with pounds earlier works. It has a close resemblance to itchy Ritchie or drippy Dan. What I also noticed was there were only 5 smaller size painting done by pound. The rest were larger or by bunk Also series 3 had 11 bunk paintings so shouldnt that mean pound should have others intended for series 3? Actually both pieces have 95 written on them. I wonder if the remaining Series 3 got pushed to Series 4...if he did in fact do enough to fill all of OS3. That Why Fight It Giant card should have been in the real sets. That painting is straight MONEY!

Only pound and topps will know for sure on some of this. Its a shame they didn't add all this info to the book. There are so many mysteries to the early years of gpk. If you ever want to sell that piece of art please let me know. Might be the only way I'll come close to an early final

I just measured that Lunch GPK and it is exactly the same size as an OS1 (and probably OS2) but the white edges were clearly trimmed off. I can see some of the white in at the edges still.

Maybe for the 30th anniversary they can make a complete history book lke they just did for the ninja turtles. That's why I love my color roughs because they show a piece of the history that went into the making of them. I even hope pound could come back and paint a few pieces for a 30th anniversary set. He signs cards so why not come out of retirement like Jordan and paint One could dream!

If Pound would do just a couple characters CPK style for the 30th that would be huge. But, I think we have a better chance of seeing hell freeze over.

Just print his Giant characters in normal card form for the 30th set. Have a Nice Day Take a GPK to Lunch Hooked On GPK Why Fight It Guts All of these should have had named cards and never did.

Wonder if pound ever had any name suggestions for those. Mark did you ask him? I emailed him to see if he had the color to have a nice day. I will see if he answers. Last time I never heard back.

That's a good idea, Topps can pay tribute to some awesome artwork that was never released with the original series and give them a fitting name. Other than the ones listed on Aaron's site, I wonder if there are any other characters that Pound did (and still has the finals) that were rejected by Topps?

I didn't ask about suggested names, but I did follow up inquiring about pencil or color rough art for "Lunch" or "Why Fight It". I don't see why they wouldn't have name suggestions on them. I agree "Have a Nice Day" looks OS1 and Lunch looks OS2.
There's also the vaporized girl and pickled kid that were from around that time.

I picked up my newest addition from the framers. Also picking up this color rough... The 328 stands for the 28th drawing done for the third series. I love the Soldier GPK. It's a shame it was never in a base set.

Both pieces are so good mate. Blinding additions to your collection. The 'Why fight it' GPK is one of my all time favourites.

The light blue looks way better than how it was framed before. Crazy how cute colors can enhance or take away from a piece. Also congrats on the new color rough. Is that your first one? I finally but the bullet and bought the color rough from pound. I couldn't pass it up even with the higher price point.

I'm not a big fan of the new series mark but I love Connie Science/ Split Krit. You knocked it outta the park. If I ever get this card I hope you can sign it. You did a wonderful job!

WADE Shade was in the 2015 S1 preview, which was the one I chose to keep for myself, so I can show off the newly framed final art. Looks great!

I have fallen in love with this piece mate!! It's an astonishing GPK. Proper OS vibe, great concept and phenomenal art work. That's a full proof GPK there. Loving the current set and really looking forward to the next if this piece is anything to go by.
