I saw that on ebay, but was late to bid. Are you the buyer or seller? What's the story with it? Do you think it was a movie prop? Very cool item! Neither. Yes I do believe it is a movie prop. Can any collectors post up the shoes, and there might have been 1 hand? I might have the photos saved somewhere. I only know of 3 different character masks so far but am sure the others are somewhere out there.

....I think it's funny when my wife refers to the "U" "G". She pronounces it: ughh (Like a caveman) That is funny!

The only thing that forced me out was the lack of them making more sets after 15th and not knowing about foreign cards until the internet and ebay back in 98. Even before 98 I still tried to contact a few stores to find GPK. The only big sources back then were Roxanne T and Mark M, and maybe a couple others.

After speaking with a co-worker from Jordan, and a tour guide in Jordan, French is not spoken in Jordan or was in the 80s/90s. Would anyone who states that GPK in French were sold in Jordan please submit their evidence. I would guess that the 'theory' of Belgian GPK being sold in Jordan might be only based on one foreign contact and never verified. I believe this has inaccurately caused many fan sites to sometimes refer to the Belgian cards as Jordanian. I hope one day that a Jordanian set will be made. Thanks/Shokran Hi GB Its a good question, and one i hadnt considered before... I knew that part of belgium speaks French, but i had just assumed that French must have been the language of Jordan too (yes it is the country in the middle east, or at least i assume so, as i have not heard of another place called jordan either...) I just googled Jordan and language and apparently French is spoken there, but its not their primary language: www.arab.de/arabinfo/jordan.htmYou are right in saying these are harder to find than the Dutch cards. Very hard to find. The only ones i have seen on ebay were a lot of 14 cards from a Dutch Seller (Edwin) which i won a year or 2 ago, a single card in with a bunch of les crados cards from a seller in Belgium, and a single card mislabeled as a german card from a seller in the USAa few months ago. I was lucky enough to stumble across a nice lady in the USA who sold me a near mint variation set a couple of weeks ago, so i now have the 14 cards i won on ebay spare. The condition varies. I should also have something else from this set arriving this coming week..... watch this space!

So their are at least 5 collectors that have these envelope and note paper sets. Does that still make it rare? What is rare ? Why am I pondering that question when I should be working? -TCT Maybe not as rare as some might have previously thought. But I would guess it would be very hard to find anymore.

Rumors on the internet have said the Garbage Pail Kids cartoon was released briefly on VHS in the U.S. in 1989 even though the show was pulled by CBS two years earlier (I'm not talking about the bootleg copies with the European dubbed voices). I ask every one. Is this true or a butt load of crap. I think that would depend on what your defintion of being 'released' means? If you mean.. was the cartoon ever manufactured and sold on VHS.. then NO. But if the cartoon was ever on VHS and made its way outside of CBS International before the DVD release.. then YES. To my knowledge the only time the cartoon was sold was to the UK, Iceland, Spain, and other spanish networks that aired the cartoon.

Well.... 1. hebrew albums 1,2,3 (full) 2. Gpk ring's on original foam(no box ) 3. La pandilla Super Pop vending cards. 3.b. memories of the Bukimi that i sold(what was i thinking) man so many things to pick from. But those three over all seemed the rarest or in my case THE hardest to get. Most all other items come and go. wish i had a original art! Might have to shoot for a ans one. Looks like the majority of OS art is taken. La pandilla Super Pop vending cards?? Do you mean the Super Pop cards from the magazine? or the La Pandilla vending cards? Those are two different sets.

These sure sold pretty high! But I think once 5 more or so show up, dont know how many years that will take though, then the price should drop down. I wouldnt value these at these prices, they are just hot items at the moment. I will be interested in seeing how much these sell for in the years to come, when slowly more and more collectors can get one. It was worth about $40 for me just for a 2nd one.

HOLY CRAP!!! Dave, that's bloody awesome!! I love how it's done in that classic OS GPK style, genius! I'd love to see it as a final piece!!! Thanks, I was in the mood for an OS drawing. It would not work as a final piece since its not really doing anything except being basically a portrait of the characters as GPKs. That, and the Sandman series is no longer made so it would be a bit dated. I don't think there is really anything wrong with a portrait turned GPK. This would be an example. As long as it looks great! I don't really know Sandman much at all but still really enjoy the sketch you did. Especially looking at it compared to the comic.

While I was taking photos, I thought I would take some of the sketch cards I got while at the last PhillyCon/Allentown 07 show a few months ago. Thanks to Jay, Dave, Jeff & Fred!!! It was a blast hanging out with all of you. I was able to get each of them to sketch a sort of St. Valentines Massacre scene. Each artist drew a GPK getting blown away Another sketch from Jay. and 2 from the new artists Fred Harper! He had these basic ideas in his sketch book so I asked if he could sketch them for me. Sue M. Shute and Teachum Tootsie / I give it the name S and Emma I really like this one. This is the FIRST GPK to REALLY incorporate Adult material!! I have the inappropriate areas blacked out. Enjoy!!!

Nice pic Adam, were the 35mm reels hard to get ? The reels are pretty hard to get. I got the first set back in 1999 from a collector. That was the first and only time I saw one up on ebay. The 2nd set I was able to get from a local film house just down the road. That saved on some shipping Those things are HEAVY!! I don't really need 2 copies.. So I do have a set up for sell or trade. You will have to entertain me with legitimate offers. I would like to get my reels shown at some point. If we can get a HUGE group of collectors to goto SDCC then I keep thinking of the idea of trying to have a sort of GPK Convention and could show the film there. In recent years the SDCC has started with some sort of short film competition i believe... so I am guessing it could be possible to show the GPK movie. Just would have to set up everything well in advance.

Uncut Sheets Updated Definitions: Full Uncut Sheet: 264 (22x12) cards, Sheet A & Sheet B together uncut. Uncut Sheet: 132 (11x12) cards (actually a half-sheet), Can either be Sheet A or Sheet B. Most collectors refer to this as an ‘Uncut Sheet’. I suggest using this terminology until there is proof from TOPPS that there are other definitions. Sheet A: 132 (11x12) cards, Board 1 at the Top and Bottom and Board 2 in the middle. Sheet B: 132 (11x12) cards, Board 2 at the Top and Bottom and Board 1 in the middle. Board 1: 44 (4x11) cards all ‘A’ cards. Board 2: 44 (4x11) cards all ‘B’ cards. All Original Series were made with sheets like this. Any other variation of number of cards is most likely an unlicensed copy or there is a small chance that it is a cut down sheet. Most common of these types were made during the 80s of Series 2nd and 3rd The ANS (All New Series) Garbage Pail Kids have different sized sheets. 1st Series – Sheet A & Sheet B 2nd Series – Board 1 & 2 – 2nd Print Run (Messy TESSIE) 2nd Series – Board 1 & 2 – 3rd Print Run (Live MIKE) 3rd Series – Sheet A 4th Series – Full Sheet, Sheet A, & Sheet B 5th Series – Full Sheet & Sheet A 6th Series – Sheet A 7th Series – Sheet B 8th Series – Sheet B 9th Series – Sheet B 10th Series – Sheet A ANS4 – Regular Sticker Fronts ANS5 – Base Cards ANS6 – Base Cards ANS6 – Bonus Cards Fronts ANS6 – Action Punch-Outs ANS6 – Magnet Fronts Unpublished 16th – Production Board 1 Australian Garbage Gang 1st – Sheet B Australian Garbage Gang 3rd – Production Board 1 Argentina or Chili Basuritas Giant 1st -54 Giant Stickers -12 & Full Sheet 9x6

Just thought I'd attempt again to re-catalog my collection. I started to take some photos, so It's easier to see what I got and what I still need. Here is most of my Les Crados collection. The cards are elsewhere. I finally shelled out the Euro to go ahead and get one of the series 2 boxes. It is on its way. I paid a little too much, compared to past ones, but I just kept letting the auctions pass me bye. Oh yeah.. and I also have a 1st pack. For those that are going to the PhillyCon... I was thinking about bringing my used Beurk.. would anyone be interested in trying it? And do you know any French at all?? lol I have a story to go with the other Beurk that is pretty cool.. Before I turned 21 (10 years ago) I just randomly decided one day that I was going to buy a jet ski, or go to Europe. Europe won (wise decision). I did volunteer work and backpacked for about 3 months and for one of the months ended up staying with a German family in Belgium. It turned out that one of the younger sons in the family, his friend had maybe 100 or so Les Crados that he just gave to me! That was awesome.. those were the 1st Les Crados that I had. Back to the main story: Well... lets see.. oh yeah.. on one of the German holidays... I think it's called Nikolaus Tag.. around Nov 5 or something... Saint Nikolaus (not our Santa clause but another guy) typically brings sweets, and I guess toys, to the kids that leave their shoes outside of their door. (VERY WEIRD holliday!!) I didn’t learn of all this until afterwards.. but when I opened my door that morning.. RIGHT THERE WAS an UNOPENED BEURK game!!! WOW!! It was an amazing experience!! lol ONLY FOR HARDCORE GPK LOVERS HUH?? I think to this day that still is the most exciting gift I had ever received. This was before the game was posted on the French Guys website.. the only evidence of it was from the few used 1st albums. and I just got one UNOPENED!!.. well.. the temptation was too much.. Not knowing what it looked like inside at all.. I opened it! At least only the outer cellophane.. luckily I was able to keep a little 'dignity' (maybe the right word I can use here) and left the packages inside still sealed.. So.. today.. I'm left with a fond memory, an 'almost' Mint BEURK game, and hopefully a small fun story for you to read about! PS: PEOPLE!! QUIT bidding so much on the little pins!! I only need 2 more and yall are bidding TOO MUCH!! - Beurk x2 (one in Mint condition, other to play) - Spirou Magazine - Le Bande Des Crados Small Record - Small Record with Les Crados song on it - Full display set of Pins (7 per set) - Chef Des Crados T-shirts (2 versions, 1 unopened) - Album 1st, 2nd, ANS 1 - Cards: 1st, 2nd - 2 small buttons (Touche Pas A Mon Crado) (Not in photo) Enjoy
