To everyone who sent in cards to be signed I just wanted to LYK that half of them went out today and the rest will go out within two days.
Also, check out the Wacky Packages series 3 promo card I painted that was given out at the San Diego Comic Con and LMK what you think. Its called The Annoying Spitter-Man. If you don't have a pick you can find it on Ebay I'm sure.
Lastly, Some people had inquired about original art to the cards I painted for GPK. My apoligizes for being so disorganized. I'll have them ready to sell soon.
Later! Dave

Speaking of Play Doh, being an 80's original referrence. I submitted this concept to TOPPS about 2 years ago as a Mr. Potatoe Head referrence. Mr. Z told me it wouldn't fly because of the scissors referrence This was drawn during my OS11 period when i was OBSESSED with that series.

what if the scissors were made to resemble those plastic kid-safe scissors that even when you try to cut your finger off it doesn't even leave a mark (remember those?)

I really love the first concept of the weatherman and wish they would have went with that one. Who scored the second version of the barbeque one? I got the first. :happysmoke:

I really like the idea of the 'gpk figure' one. I think it could be really neat to incorporate the banner/namebar/etc into the packaging. Also, I think a lot could be done with shading, etc during the final art process to make the plastic and figure look more 3D. Anyway - very nice work, and thanks for sharing.

I really love the first concept of the weatherman and wish they would have went with that one. Who scored the second version of the barbeque one? I got the first. I like both versions of the weatherman. I picked up both of them. I think that a lot of the 1st versions were better than the 2nd versions. I like the 1st deli, weatherman, and the karate ones better than the final ones used. The 2nd karate one looks too much like Bruised Lee from os3. That just shows how little topps knows. Also I don't think the optometrist or the play dough ones should have been rejected. Those are so much better than some other cards that they accepted and made. I wanted the rib ones so bad, esp the 2nd one, but I was too late. Whoever bought that 2nd one should sell it to me. :wave1:

Hi Everyone,
I need some help. Does anyone have a original series 1 pink wrapper that they can scan for me at a decent size? If so I need it ASAP.
Please email it to: salandrei@aol.com
Thanks in advance
