This is from "Pif Gadget" which was a famous French comics magazine. The double page is entitled : "The best of Adam Bomb jokes". This magazine was dedicated to kids so the jokes are pretty cheesy... Here comes a translation of the second story : "A man went downstairs to his basement. He saw a ghost and told him : - Hey, ghost, you're losing your handkerchief ! - This is not my handkerchief, this is my little brother !" Haha. Yeah that's pretty cheesy. Thanks for the translation, Pepe :-) As promised, here's some pics of the inside of the Yo Acuso mini magazine: Wow, that's awesome ! Thanks a lot for sharing !

That is a good question. I can't remember this detail. Guess the box should have a "2,50 F" sticker. I'm going to make a reasearch, I'll tell you once I'll have the information. But maybe someone here own a French box and could tell us ? ...

Wow... these boxes bring back so much memories...
I think the last box you posted isn't from France : the price (15 FB = 15 francs belges) seems to show it's from Belgium.

Far from being exhaustive but still interesting...

I already showed it elsewhere on the forum : This drawing by the french comics artist Jean Solé was used for the cover of a famous comics magazine ("L'Echo des Savanes") in 1978. The page is extracted from his comics "Carnets intimes" and Solé explains how he discovered that his drawing concept was used for a GPK card (OS5 Handy Randy / Jordan Nuts) : In the early 90's, the Crados phenomenon spread in schools playgrounds. The symbolic card of this series, from the USA, was a non-signed plagiarism of my "L'Echo des savanes" cover. Encouraged by my colleagues, I took legal proceedings. Then I learnt that the anonymous person who made this plagiarism was Art Spiegelman who was doing there a casual job. Art, that I admire, confirmed the information to me.

So I've decided to go after foreign Junky Jeff stuff. Thanks Bok for this thread and the start of my research. Going into this I knew next to nothing about foreign GPK releases. Its been fun to do the research and try to find what sets Junky Jeff appears. Foreign info is not abundant online. This should be a fun side project, even though I know I will probably never have the Bukimi. If anyone has anything available on the list below, let me know. I'm looking for cards in good condition. Also if you notice I missed a Junky Jeff, please let me know! FRANCE - Les Crados - 3 Lionel Poubelle (1988) There is a regular card in Les Crados release but there's also the puzzle cards (#160 to 168) : Good luck with your search !

the melty's looks amazing after getting the glass changed out on them...crazy how much deeper the blacks look and brighter the pinks with the museum glass. Thanks for the tip, Rahul. I'm going to change the glass on my Melty Misfits pieces too.

Controlled chaos, perhaps that's a happy medium on which we can agree. But a overly structured wall with perfect measurements seems ironic when it comes to GPK art. All too often, that carefree rebellious kid that got hooked on GPK because of its nonconformity somehow becomes the stuffy, carefully measured, conformity stricken geriatric. C'est la vie. There is no right answer, only preference. But as for me, my walls will not be pretentious faux museums of GPK artistic rectitude. ...unless I have more time and someone can come over and help me get it all aligned perfectly. That'd be great. Chaotic GPK art walls would suck then. haha ya i hear you both. at my last place i had a super chaotic walls and chaotic frames lol. i didn't care at the time and really liked the art all over closet and in various sections. i put stuff up spontaneously and was glad that i could find something that worked. wouldn't have changed that place for the world, but since ive moved im hoping to inject a little more order. i dont have a run to show, my collection is totally haphazard. i just pick up art i like and want to look at, i just want to get the frames the same for most of the pieces. i think the organized approach is appropriate for a more orderly collection, mine is definitely not orderly lol That's a fascinating debate and both sides have good arguments. While the temptation is probably strong to standardize the framing, my frame dealer told me once that each artwork deserves its own customized jewelry box... If the collector's goal is to gather a piece from each series, I guess there's some kind of logic in choosing consistency. I personally don't really care about OS numbers because the cards were all mixed up in the Les Crados releases. So if I had many GPK paintings, I'm not sure I would choose consistency.

You have a sharp eye ! Well I don't know who lent these items for the exhibition... Maybe does it come from Topps or Spiegelman himself ? The other pieces on display (mainly original pages from Spiegelman's comics) came from the personal collection of the author...
