This is the ad for the CBS Saturday Morning lineup from 1987. Garbage Pail Kids was suppose to air on September 19th of that year until parents pull the plug. I altered the picture to show the angst that Split Kit went through being left out of "CBS' Party". Attachments:

i remember having the same ad from TV Guide when it was to air. I was watching CBS that morning, and then nothing- I can't remember what they played instead, but I was disturbed.

I have seen a few ads for it in comics books of that era. That and The Young Astronauts show never aired.

Can anyone be specific about where to find this ad?? I would guess it appeared in June,July and August issues of comics from Marvel and DC. Usually on the inside front cover or inside back cover. |
