So I received an email from another collector who made contact with me through my site. Here's a portion of what he had to say:
I am writing from Colombia, its website is cool and fun, I've been a fan of the GPK from the 80's, I have an amount of GPK USA and also keep a few albums that came out here, I like the section of GPK other countries and that is why I would like to make some pictures of colombia GPK is an album of GPK stickers with a coleccfion of more than 200 stickers of GPK ANS with classic and appeared in early 2008 here in Colombia and is named MUGROSITOS KIDS.
I'm very excited because I have not seen/heard ANYTHING about this series before. I'm curious to see if anyone else has any information or knowledge on the subject.
I have the pictures uploaded and will post them soon.

Aaron was contacted about those items back around July of this year, but when he tried to get anything the guy who wrote him didn't respond back. It definitely looks like a bootleg / unlicensed release... probably, all of the images used for the release were taken from the Internet. Let me know if you can get anything. If you do order items, please be careful the seller is not trying to scam you... I've had that happen to me with sellers from other countries before. I don't really have any interest in buying anything related to this set (yet)... so I'm a looooooooooooong way from sending this guy any money. :lol1: But if he shares any other information/pics - I'll be sure to post them up. And I'll have to reach out to Aaron to see if the person making contact with me is the same as the one who reached out to him. |

I personally love these type of items! Being that I like to create my own GPK collectibles, I give credit to whom ever put this set together...Official or Unofficial. Its any interesting concept! Rather than creating a "MUGROSITOS KIDS" banner and placing it over the existing Garbage Pail Kids banner. The artist cropped the image down to 1.75" x 2.5" (I think!). With nothing more than a simple photoshopped name plate. There you go! Example:  -TCT |

Seems MORE than Shady to me...... how is it possible to drop a GPK line ANYWHERE in the world we've never even HEARD about..... IDK that's just me but I woud like to think that if GPK dropped somewhere, we would know about it with our combined kn owledge..... doesn't make sense to me...... JUST MO......

Here's a few more details I received about this release:
"Album mugrositos kids have almost the same size puerquitos kids but has 256 stickers with ANS GPK and the GPK collection of old."I found it odd he mentions 'GPK collection of old' (which I would assume to be OS), yet there are no Original Series images on the album or sticker.  |

Nico, Do you think this guy can get these items? -TCT I'll have to check my emails tonight...but if I remember correctly, he stated that he doesn't actually own any of these, rather he gets the pictures from a friend. I asked if he could acquire any and I believe I'm still waiting on a response. I'll follow-up and let you know. |

Found this pic online. Appears to be a Mugrositos Kids display ad: After looking at this pic again and translating the text in the top-left corner ("...para stickers" which means "....for stickers") I'm thinking this may actually be the Mugrositos album and not a display ad. Most likely the word "album" is cutoff so it most likely reads "álbum para stickers". Can someone please verify? :-) |
