I would like to know more about the Spanish double packs from the first series sold lately on the net. I read from someone that maybe they were reselaed, so can anyone provide pictures of them? Especially pictures of the 4 edges, so that we all from the community can check if they are effectively resealed or not. Thank you!

Last week I received an LPB double pack from Spain and a LPB single pack from a seller out of France. They both appear in excellent condition. I will post pics of both later tonight when I have time.

Hello, my experience and knowledge ... (I do not know much about this and I do not very fluent English)
I think the machines used EDITORIAL MERCHANTE in Spain for making the sealed envelopes could pass these things .... , machines manufactured in the elongated paper and cutting machines was not always clean, regular and perfect. I guess the process is something like:
role of elongated envelopes, machine puts the cards in the center and then another part of the machine seals the paper with glue and heat ... then the machine itself has blades as almost perfect to make the cut clean in just desired area.
I guess it's something ... strange thing is the position of the cards, in some envelopes forward and others in the back (I believe I have seen more on the back with the name and number and not image ...) but I guess this was just a way to produce 30 years ago today ...
and who could pass these things: in the sealed envelope the seller frances you can see that the cards are bent too, as if had been moved from place stickers, but this is normal, since the envelopes have 30 years a go.
I guess Editorial Merchante in Spain felt that this just was correct for sale and distribution. These fabrications are mass and costing money to manufacture and sometimes the operation of the machines is not always perfect. But is sold and distributed equally ... since it is still valid.
I can not say more UKM and hope I expressed clearly with my bad English. Thanks for your work and also you lucypher, for the clarifications and images.
Have a nice day.

There is much detail to be seen in the pictures, there are differences in the manufacture of the two different types of envelopes.
I really do not know if it's the manufacture who chose in his EDITORIAL MERCHANTE time in Spain, but the cuts and extrategia of presentation is different in double envelopes sealed in individual sealed envelopes.
Do you see the difference? This is for the chosen manufacturing, the modus operandi of his time and for any type of personal choice in the manufacture by sealing machines.

is this a full set ? ..I don't know to much about them Hello, It is a full set indeed. The shortest card size foreign GPK set I believe, just 56 cards with 2 different albums. Sadly being the shortest doesnt mean is/was easy to get/complete... This release was only possible to get buying a Spanish magazine (Super Pop) which included each 10 cards, one double pack with 5 card each pack. And only 7 Magazines issues came with packs so in theory buying every release once you got 70 cards to complete a 56 cards set. Unless you were lucky and didnt get many duplicates or had a friend to trade them you had to buy several magazines to complete a set making it expensive/hard for kids to complete. Beside the card's material is really bad so is not easy to find them in good condition, pretty easy to get damaged by moisture or just get bent, dinged corners, etc, it doesnt take much to lose the "fresh pack" condition of the cards after some handling.

Sweet set Henry. I'm still 5 or 6 cards away. The quality is pretty crappy. Kind of like LPB2. Basically the same material cereal boxes are made from.
