There's a near complete series 2 pandilla set plus album on eBay Spain right now. It's listed at 75 euro but with shipping to the US he'll take 140 euro. Missing only 35 cards. The cards are loose, not stuck. Mint album without stickers. Completley empty. Not a bad deal in my book. Just throwing it out there for anyone interested. Use google translator to communicate. It will copy and paste entire paragraphs to Spanish.  happy hunting. |

i brought a very nice superpop album it arrived last week and i am very pleased with the little sweet album!! only its missing about 10 cards... so the hunt is on to find the remaining superpop cards i was just hunting for the cards and found this little writing about the la pandila basura (i love saying it)LOL peru30.wordpress.com/2010/09/21/album-de-la-pandilla-basura-1989/i love the picture from the two kids it reminds me of those sweet mid 80s !!  |

thanx , maybe its the angle of the picture and the kids holding the album
are offcourse smaller so the album looks bigger

Help please. I bought a bunch of La Pandilla Basura. The white back cards have both 1986 and 1987 copyright on the front. Did Topps really print series 1 with two different years, or do I have two different countries (i.e. Spain and Peru)? If so, which year belongs to which?

I noticed this on the grey back 2nd series, too. My Card #4, Miron Sacedon (which google results show as Series 1 Spain, is grey back, #4 copyright 1987. And, they seem to be card stock only. No sticker. So, how would one put them in an album?
I am new to La Pandilla Basura and just wondering if I got a raw deal or just confused. Thanks UG!

Hello, I dont have my album with me right now, but checking the first album online, oink.elrellano.com/basura.php?page=2 , you can see that #4 is not from the 1st series, yellow album, stickers set, that would be from the second series, blue album, where all are card stock only.  |

Grey back is from second series.
The peruvian cards are smaller than the Spanish cards and have a different back.

All La Pandilla Pasura second series were released in 1989 here in Spain. The year you see on the copyright depends on the US release from where the card originally comes from. The second series was printed on grey cardboard (non sticker) and people would glue/paste them into the album... it's a rare and weird release compared to the first.. the text on the inside of the album has grammar mistakes and there's also a card that has been mispelt (number 8- LAVERINTO JACINTO should be: LABERINTO JACINTO)... |
