Some of my favorite cards in my collection are far from mint with writing on the backs, stupid crap that we put there as kids. Not mine, but this one is amazing, looks like an NES game password:

Which is upsetting, because those idiots ruined the current-day value of their OS1 cards. It’s almost like little children don’t consider the investment opportunities their toys represent. Stupid kids!

Stupid kids! I know what you mean man but I kinda like cards with writing on the backs, kinda tells a story. Like some of the cards I have from my childhood have names of people I remember, some I don't. Just kinda interesting. Plus you can get 'em for cheap

And at the moment, I actually am looking for cheap. I’m trying to put together a poor-quality OS1 base set. Cards with writing, the border sticker removed, etc. Just a fun thing to do with my spare time during self-isolation. So kudos to those dumbo children!

Thanks for looking out. But I’m down to only seven cards that I need to complete the set, so I don’t want to shell out $200+ on more cards. I’ll probably have to buy the seven singly at auction, and I don’t want to spend more than $5 shipped for each one.

I love looking at old dog-eared cards.

No way I would've paid that much... horrible condition and not even complete sets. Crazy!
