People still trying to cash in on the bubble market. I wish him luck. It is one of the more iconic OS15 pieces, but...

Well, it sold in less than a day: I’m not sure it sold for the full $15k, but that didn’t take long! Cory , how much did you pay him for it?

I think the artwork on the piece is great, but the buyer didn’t buy a Garbage Pail Kid. It’s just a really cool artwork of Freddie Kruger.

I think the artwork on the piece is great, but the buyer didn’t buy a Garbage Pail Kid. It’s just a really cool artwork of Freddie Kruger. I agree! But who knows, maybe this was a particularly sentimental or nostalgic piece for the buyer. Maybe he was younger, and didn’t get into GPK until like series 11 or 12. So Claude Flesh was like that guy’s Dead Ted or Roy Bot. Could you imagine that tragedy? Depressing as hell, ha ha! No matter what, this was an iconic piece as far as the later series are concerned, and I don’t think it has reset the market for later-series finals. If the seller got anywhere close to $15k for it, then a huge congrats to him, but I think this was a fluke and that the vast majority of OS10-15 pieces wouldn’t fetch at the high-end more than $2500-$3000.

I must have blocked out this card ever existing. Not my cup of tea. Crazy price! Should I be putting my collection up for sale and buying a house with the proceeds?!
