I really hate to do this... I’m a fan of Robert’s art I have two of his GPK finals and will be buying some of his original at some point. He’s a great guy pleasantries out of the way. This is another Topps cash grab they should have licensed the food fighters toy line and called this what it is Food Fighters: After the War. At some point this may... may value as it will be amongst the shortest runs made by Flopps.

So, you are 9 cards short of a full set when you purchase a set. I wonder if you buy 10 sets, will you get all of the b cards or could you get dupes and still not have a full set? Basically, there will be 10 times as many A cards as B cards. Insane.

I also wondered if you bought the 10-pack would you get all 10b cards. And mainly, are these so bad that they will sell because the thought of nobody buying them would make collector buy them.
Does the a-b flip justify a collectible here? Or is that to pump the gas to get things going for a random series. Was considering buying some, but a full pack is a tough price to swallow, also not a real GPK. If everyone gets a 10-pack then we got Tiger King #'s.
Anyone know if there will be more GPK KITCHEN Series? So many foods, it might never end.
(I would like to see a mushroom and a meatball though)

If they did one "c" card per 10 sets, they may have had more people on board, but now there are basically 9 incomplete sets for every 10 sets. My other issue is, aren't these a spin off of GPKs? Why not call them something else? Trash Can Tots, Grossville High, etc., are all spins offs. So this is basically an idea that is using the GPK brand to make sales.

I don’t buy the new stuff, and I’ve given up hope of them looking like CPKs ever again. They might as well call this new food set “Garbage Pail Kids”, it’s not lowering the brand at this point.

They are supposed to look like CPK now. Brent gets the closest to that look. Topps doesn't seem to care to keep it consistent. Why should they? People buy them no matter what they look like.

I’m happy with the old stuff, and with Mark’s new stuff. I don’t need to spend anymore than I already do, ha ha!

So with 1 "b" card sold with every 10 "a" card set, there are only 72.5 complete sets.
