Man I had so much beef with this piece back in the day, not a fan at all. Shipping of $100 is a bit much.

On the ToppsVault COA, Is 'original production photo' the same as final art?

I know it doesn't look like a GPK, it really isn't a Garbage Pail Kid at all, but as a piece of art on its own, separate from GPK, I like it. I like the colors, I like the fantasy aspect of it, with the rabbit floating down using an umbrella. It's a spoof on a famous children's show, and it has an almost fairy-tale aspect to it. And it's also dark too, because that train is going over the cliff and everyone on board is going to die. But yeah, $100 for shipping is a bit much. Unless it's being shipped in carbonite.

You answered your own question. It doesn’t look like a GPK

They shouldn't use the GPK banner, but they do because that is how they make their money, selling off the fame and goodwill of the original run.

Not sure if I should bid on it. I got so much disposable income at the moment I could do the buy it now but nah am not that crazy as I already have an ANS 6 final art. Nice piece though.

If you change your mind, make sure to email the seller and make sure it is really artwork and not a print. I don’t remember Topps Vault selling any final art after ANS3, so I’m not sure what this is.

The thing sold for $860 plus $100 shipping. For an autographed print. Disgusting.

The seller represented it as "artwork" in the listing. $960 on the original art for this piece is not that egregious.

The buyer should have paid closer attention to the listing, and noticed the certificate of authenticity. You shouldn't drop a thousand dollars without being careful. But the seller misrepresented what he was selling, and seemingly ignored the people who pointed it out to him. The buyer is a fool but the seller is a crook.
