Is it just me, or does it seem like there are a lot of printing plates from the new set listed on eBay? By my count, ther are 22 plates currently for sale, and another 12 that have sold. I don't recall such a high number being listed for previous sets so early into their releases.

I posted this on FB after seeing a pattern of hits being shown by collectors ripping boxes to shreds: “Printing Plate pulls from the entire MP of 6K people: 4 Printing Plate pulls from a couple long time eBay flippers: 122 Any questions?” No worries, ordering Collector Boxes is.... It's crazy how many printing plates they are finding. Are they buying a lot more boxes than before? Or just more willing to sell this time around? I don't mind flippers doing this, because it gives you a chance to collect certain plates you want without having to buy your own boxes and hoping you find the specific plate you want. But where were these guys during the 80s set's release? I still have two Dee & D plates I need! |

Wonder if anyone else is thinking the Printing Plates this series look sort of brighter in color they seem to 'pop' more compared to previous series Plates !? Anyone else noticed this or do I need a new prescription  |
