Awesome!, both of those are great finals! Thanks Billo! They're no Toady Terry color rough, but I like them!

So, a bit of an update. I sold the final art for Barfin' Marvin to OS Mafia, because it is a piece he has wanted for a very long time. While I really like the piece, he has a much deeper connection to it. So Marvin is now in its rightful home.
However, do not cry for me. Because an angel came out of nowhere and sold me a different final. A pre-OS10 Pound, which is what I have truly been seeking this whole time. I will never have a wall of OS finals, but I will now always have what I consider to be a grail.

Wow, Jack Pot! Love that one. Nice addition for sure. Going to get it framed? Thanks! Yes, I definitely plan to frame it. I have a lot of art (including Pings) to frame. I've been so busy buying things and haven't taken the time to get any of it framed!

These aren't technically Garbage Pail Kids, but they deserve to be posted here anyway: HORRORIBLE KIDS "THING JUAN/THING STU" AUTOGRAPHED CARDS HORRORIBLE KIDS "THING JUAN/THING STU" FINAL ART I owe Mark Pingitore a debt of gratitude for selling this to me, and for coping with my bulls**t. I absolutely love this piece. The second I saw it I knew I had to have it. Thanks Mark! Man I’m WAY overdue to get those Pingitore sets!!! Amazing

OS3 "A-CARDS" PSA SET Here is a complete set of 41 OS3 "a" cards (all PSA 9 or 10) that I put together. These are mostly PSA 9s, but well-centered ones. Most could easily have passed as PSA 10s, though only a handful of cards in this collection (~5) are rated as such. Several months ago a seller on ebay listed a 75/88 variation set of PSA 9 OS3 cards. OS3 is my favorite series, but I foolishly didn't buy it. I then spent months tracking down these cards individually, settling for just an "a" set. I chose not to collect the "b" cards, since it's about the art, not the name plates. I sold off most of my OS2 PSA cards to afford this, but it is worth it. I’m always late to the party... these are great. I can see why OS 3 is your favorite. It’s cool checking out another collection very impressive.

Actually I just sold this set. I am selling off a lot of my collection to afford original art. I will have to re-do this collection thread soon! That’s cool. Collecting what you like can’t beat it!! Very nice art Yeah, I was all over the map with my collecting the past couple years. PSA cards, proofs, cheap toys, blank-backs, printing plates, posters, empty OS boxes, etc. I had a whole bunch of stuff that I liked, but then I got bit by the original art bug. It started with a newer David Gross final, then an Engstrom final, and now I have found myself with three OS finals and a bunch of art from Mark as well. The art I bought has put things in perspective for me, and I've decided I don't want to have too many pots on the fire. It was kind of like aimless collecting, and it was getting to be a bit much. I also can't afford it monetarily! So the art has won out and I'm selling most of my other stuff. At least when I'm eating canned cat food for the rest of my life I can look at my art on the wall and know it was all worth it!

I’ve always felt like that also after 30 years of collecting so many things that it’s WAY better to have a few very high quality items than a bunch of lower value ones. It took me a long time to realize that. Hey we have a lot of experience buying AND selling...

After months of hard work searching for and then acquiring it, I am thrilled to announce the latest piece in my collection - the final art for OS8 Soapy Opie: 304 RUBBIN' ROBYN / SOAPY OPIE FINAL ART I didn't do this alone. It took a lot of help. I am forever grateful to lobstrosity for trading the piece to me, and to mping82 and peacheswithpeaches for facilitating the deal. I also owe thanks to OS Mafia, Peter, Jimbo, and Pepe for their help in acquiring the piece. Thank you all - you helped me obtain my grail! I will not forget your kindness. Today I am truly a happy man.

Opie is a bute!! I took care of him when i had him. Colors really pop more in person. I miss him. But glad he keeps making so many collectors happy. Congrats! Thanks everyone for the kind words! Hey, I was wondering - does anyone know where the CoA went? Lobstrosity didn't have it. So somewhere along the way as Opie has passed through several hands, the CoA was lost. I'm hoping to track it down.
Those of you that owned Opie previously, did you pass on the CoA when you sold it? Maybe we can figure out who might still have it. Thanks!
