To the 80's lovers out there....which is almost all of us. You should watch the new Youtube show Cobra Kai. It's the best show I've watched in a long time.  Here is a trailer if you haven't heard about it yet. The first 2 episodes are free on youtube. Anyone binge the whole thing yet? |

There is a free 1 month trial, which I signed up for to see episodes 3-10. |

I liked the show, had to continue watch where each episode left off so ordered the last episodes. This series also is more comedic than the actual movies.
Growing up watching the movies hundreds of times i liked the flashbacks.

I've watched it twice now. That's how a proper sequel should be done! A continuation with a fresh, engaging story, yet diligently respecting the originals.
And there was just the right amount of throwbacks, as well. The writers really knew how to give the audience just enough nostalgia without going overboard with it.

Just finished the first episode, pleasantly surprised. Excited to see the rest. Think I got hooked right away with blasting Poison in his 80s hot rod. Great way to start a show.

They did a great job with the show. It's a lot of fun and doesn't take itself seriously. I just can't get over how much of a dick Daniel is. And his kids are spoiled, entitled brats. Well, at least his son is anyway. Johnny is still an asshole but he has good intentions. Not sure who to root for. Who are you guys rooting for?

Cobra Kai Season 2 is out on Youtube Premium. I watched the whole thing in one sitting. It was good s**t. I hate to have to wait another year for season 3
