Hey guys, Me and GPKDNA Dave made a little Facebook website. Original Art - Garbage Pail Kids
Our GOAL was to have a website to Buy, Sell, Trade, Document and mostly TALK about GPK art! Great place to post pics of your art collections since Photo-bucket sucks! Artist can list Sketches and Original ART for show or SALE! Anyway just wanted to invite those members that LURK over here and not as much on Facebook.

Good idea...too bad I'm one of like a dozen people who still haven't been on Facebook! I've had a FB account for a long time but didn't join any FB groups until about a year or two ago. Now I'm in GPK, Laser Disc, Betamax, NES and D&B groups haha. It's addictive. I must say, not having to host pics is nice. A lot of new collectors probabaly don't even know what hosting pics means because they're so used to uploading on FB's endless storage space. There's a Foreign GPK Market FB group if anyone is interested 🌎 |

Up untill a few months ago I had no Facebook ether , I refused It I keep it private. Only gpk and my wife know I have it. If you want you could be anonymous. I'd rather show stuff framed up then google images the piece. And what if a piece pops up you have never seen and you wanted. And it's gone again. |

I'm liking the initiative. It's also a great that you can view "albums" of art by Pound or Bunk. All those great pieces in one view  |

ive been less and less on the boards and fb the last couple months. i would likoe to join the group for whenever i am around to check stuff out and post. i hate fb, but it sounds like a good group. still no place like the ug

This is a cool idea, but it's Facebook. My biggest beef with FB is things just get lost over time. You post something today, and in a week it's drowned out by other posts. That's why I'm not a member of any FB group. Sure it's easy to post pics, but they will be forgotten in a few days.
I do hope you get some people to post up some of the long lost pieces though. FB is good for wheeling and dealing.

FB is good for wheeling and dealing. Thanks Cory....We are working on some new ideas! We want a nice secure place to deal with art at the same time keep pics somewhere that wont get overlooked.....we are just brainstorming ideas right now, I hope you give us a chance when we are set up........you are an old school, Valuable asset for us new art collectors to talk with, and we would love to share in your art! I think building a strong art community around GPK can only be good for our hobby, passion and investment! |

But we got good people brainstorming. Building It will be something great. And even if we find just a few lost pieces and have a lot of great conversations. then it will b a success . I hope you take a look. |
