 "My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!" Badass, brutal movie from beginning to end. 👍👍 Essentially it's Prometheus 2, but it also completes the bridge to the Alien quadrilogy. I'll be seeing it again soon. 😈 👽 🤖 |

No Alien fans up here? My dad took me to see Aliens in the movie theater when I was 7 so the Aliens franchise will always be special to me. :sleeps with the lights on for a month:

Saw Promethus past weekend again. Rarely do insee a movie twice. It is still pretty good despite a few flaws. Can't wait to see AC eventually. |

I saw Prometheus a couple times in the theatre when it came out. So mysterious. There's a bunch of deleted scenes on the blu-ray that didn't make the theatrical cut. Covenant was complete trash. Hated it. Sorry but the CGI was bad and the story was even worse. I love Alien and Aliens and enjoyed Prometheus.

Now that u mention it there were some really angry viewers ranting and yelling when they left the theatre after the credits. I thought it was because there was no post-credits scene lol. I thought Covenant answered a lot of question raised in Prometheus like why the Engineer ripped off David's head and hit Weyland with it. Now we know! 😜 Look forward to the next one. 🤖👽 |

I really liked it. A lot of of people complain about it and say it was terrible.
It wasn't that bad. Sure it had its flaws, but overall I still liked it.
The main problem I had was that the pacing was weird. A lot of scenes were too short and could've been expanded on, leaving the film feeling like it had a small runtime.
The creature designs were splendid, even though I'm still miffed they ruined the practical effects.
Neomorph could've gotten more screen time, but I understand why it didn't.
Not a lot of new stand-out characters, but that's to be expected.
I can't wait to see the next film in the series.

Alien Covenant became available via ITunes on 8/1/17, blu-ray gets released 8/15/17. Just grabbed it digitally last night. Loads of deleted/extra scenes to watch. 👽

Woah boy... I saw this a month or so ago and was hyped. Huge let down and I love all the previous Alien flicks. Covenant is easily the worst not even close as good as Resurrection. I know a lot of fans say Resurrection was the worst but I highly enjoyed that. Covenant was absolutely a disgrace. The alien looks too CGI and the end fight wasn't even memorable. Real shame. Promethus was alright, though we need Sigourney Weaver back to make it work.

So i watched all the deleted and extra scenes and one stood out amongst them called "The Advent". It's a 1st person account of David's research into the black goo and genome hybridization. Very informative,
especially the "wolf" and the "lamb" bit. I don't want to drop any spoilers but it's worth checking out as it fills a lot of holes left in Prometheus.
