Hello,
I have ordered a bunch of my favorites and would like to put them in protective holders in order to display on a shelf.
Does anyone have any opinions on screw-down protectors? Recessed, non-recessed?
I'll probably go with the 1/4" thick, i'd like to order them soon so that I can use them to design the shelf.
I appreciate any feedback!

I don't know too much about these type of protectors but I would go with Ultra Pro. I like all their other products better than the others.
They also have larger ones that can hold multiple cards.

Thank you sir, I have seen those. I will probably buy the recessed type as well. I'm asking here because I wasn't sure if GPK cards are slightly larger than the typical trading card and wouldn't fit in the recess properly. Instead of ordering the protectors and finding out after the fact, possibly somebody here already had a favorite brand/type they use. Anyways, i'm probably over-thinking; thanks again

LOL! I just watched this movie and when I saw your name this scene came to mind lol. I don't use screw down cases, but there are quite a few people here who can help you out. Good luck and welcome to the boards!

Make sure the 9, 6, and 4 card holders have screws in the center as well as the corners. The cards can slip without the screws in the center. Ultra Pro is the best brand I've used. BCW doesn't have the center screws.
