Well I think is time to finally add this extremely rare release to the Foreign GPK section. In the following days will update this thread with pics from my near complete set and will try to explain why in my opinion this is not a variation from the common AU/NZ OS2 GG release. Sorry for those who thought their Garbage Gang collection was complete... Awesome Post Henry. I can't wait for more info. I already see the differences on the card backs between the AUS/NZ and Norwegian. What makes you call them Norway/Finland/South Africa? Did you find them in all of those locations? Any info on wrappers/packs or boxes with this set?

I have South African released cards from my childhood that are in awful condition but I gotta tell you I think they were just Uk cards distributed in RSA as there is absolutely no difference between the two. I guess I could dig em out and try comparing them again and see if I spot something... :-)

Hopefully u have that same checklist card, and a wrapper :-)

I went to H.A jack in Joburg, I am trying to understand which parts of S.A got GPK, I think it was a very closed tight market!

Here is a Picture from a SA blogger showing UK cards from old series until GG91 but also Garbage Gang OS2 w/copyright info and this last release is the one I am referring to GG OS2 Norw/SA due to the known GG OS2 cards from AU/NZ dont have copyright info. I want to show more details about my finding, just waiting for the last card I just found to complete my set GG OS2 42 a,b to 83a,b. So I will have more evidences or facts about these cards. Myself being the #1 GPK collector in South Africa, I can say this from first hand experience: we only got the UK version here, when the U.K stopped making normal series 1-6 we stopped getting. however we did get the '91 and '92 U.K editions.

I definatly remember the U.K Garbage Gang 92 cards here in S.A, furthermore do you know why all the cards in S.A look dirty and bad corners? because we used to play a game by putting the card on the grass and hitting it with our hand, if it flipped over you got the card, roots could also be used, you would place card under root and hit it!

Ok I believe you but beside this blogger I have found 2-3 more persons from SA with Garbage Gang cards from their childhood and these GG cards were not made in UK were made in New Zealand by Regina not Topps Ireland. This is a big incognit how a product from NZ ended in SA when they already had UK GPK... was the blogger Little Pony?

Hi! sorry I never got back sooner, I forgot to check back in! I lived in Joburg and went to Norwood Primary, I remember we used to buy the packs mostly from the huge pick and pay hypermarket located near Dovedale (where they baked the worlds biggest pizza!) Yes they are just the Uk ones, as I said I know for a fact these are the ones I had as a kid cause they are so beat up I still have the one that was washed by mistake! As for Garbage Gang ones turning up, its very likely these were probably traded on the playground from someone lucky enough to have been abroad and bought them or had them given to them, I promise I will post pictures tomorrow!

" Norwegian" wrapper but after knowing it was produced by Topps Ireland would rather starting to call it UK Garbage Gang OS2 wrapper Front
