Haven't seen a thread about these yet, so I figured it would be a good place to post what you won, and possibly reunite all 4 colors through trades. People are flipping these on eBay at 4 times the cost they paid already.
I have got 2 so far, both yellow.

Some people always jump on these and try to flip them but the never sell for double the price let alone 4 times the price.
But i got glen and stuck chuck last time. Topps got os1 negative backings on ebay right now.

I grabbed the Mugged Marcus yellow negative. Nice. I had a feeling you were going after him I was going after yellow Kody too and missed the auction by 2 minutes which ended up going for $31. Would've been the perfect pair. Still kicking myself..... |

Is there anyway to tell what colors they are ....or does the series numbers for coa mean anything (trackable wise )

I've got Soft Boiled Sam, and Toady Terry from a couple years back from the "vault." I got a bunch of random ones but I don't remember the colors for any and its not like you can tell by looking at them. True!, and its funny how some look so much better than others for the same character. |

I bought some years ago and see that more are coming out. I think that some of this product might be made up on the spot and not "from the vault" at all. Kind of seems that way. Don't worry for my safety my tin foil hat is on extra tight so Topps can't see this post.

You can tell what color it is, just cross reference the colors of the actual cards with the lightest parts of the negative and that's the color.
Best to check with basic colors, CMYK Cyan Magenta Yellow Key (= Black)

So do topps do a color at a time ..cuz they few I got were yellow ...i thought they were black but they all look black ...

You can tell what color it is, just cross reference the colors of the actual cards with the lightest parts of the negative and that's the color. Best to check with basic colors, CMYK Cyan Magenta Yellow Key (= Black) Well i'm probably color blind because the all look black and white to me lol. Topps seller description said that there are Four different colors: red, blue, black and yellow. The last one sold is the yellow one (card on the right) So if the sold them in that order the one before that was the black one, what makes sense looking at the card. (Card on the left) So now i need the red and blue one. If anyone has anything from this character please lmk.  |

Great you have one with hardly any color or solid colors  Indeed doesn't make it easy, the one on right is for sure Yellow and the left is Red. The way negatives work is anything clear (shown as white on the negative due to white cardboard behind it) will let the actual color for that negative through so the lightest parts on the negative resembles that color. Of course there are plenty of parts that are light on two or more negatives as some colors are created by the blend of those colors. So anything Black on those negatives is where that negative color is being blocked from exposure. If you would have all 4 negatives and lay them on top of each other you would have a fully black square. Hope I explained it well in simple, couldn't even find a youtube on this way outdated form of print. |

I assume the black negative will be the one with the character name shown, Google search doesn't show me much maybe a member here can show one

Some of the negatives are much better than others. Ive seen a few that you can barely tell which one it is. |
