Garbage Pail Kids CBS Cartoon Items TRASHED TRACY CARTOON CELL ART First up, the Trashed Tracy Character Concept Animated Cell. Tracy is one of the main stars of the cartoon, and this is the original cartoon cell of her character, love that its dated to the day it was made. One of my favorite pieces.  |

PROTOTYPE 1989 GALOOB Garbage Pail Kids ALIEN IAN I was outbid on this figure in late 2009 in a hot eBay auction, I was the second highest bidder. It turned out to be won by a buddy of mine, a collector on UG that went by the username of "Mike," a jeweler and GPK art collector in New Zealand. I hounded Mike for 3 years about this toy, and one day he finally seemed ready to sell, but we couldn't agree on a price, or at least I was nervous on what to offer. I made a gutsy move and asked for his phone number, and I called him on Fall evening, it took me a bit to get used to his accent, but he was a super friendly guy (already knew that!) and we settled on a bargain 500.00 price tag. After I hung up, I RAN up the stairs and logged into PayPal to pay, rarely have I been THAT excited to pay for a collectible!   Only 5 (Alien Ian, Trashed Tracy, Trash can Ken, Elliot Mess, and Sewer Sue) of the Galoob GPK Cartoon protos were sold in eBay auctions, the other 6 were sold off eBay (Spacey Stacy to CTM, and 5 to one other mystery collector) The 5 that were sold on eBay came with COAs, the other 6 did not. Thus, I have Ian's COA, because Mike won it on eBay, but not Stacey's, it was off eBay. Anyway, here is the COA:

PROTOTYPE 1989 GALOOB Garbage Pail Kids Spacey StacyIn August of 2011, I scored my DREAM TOY (non-Cheap Toy Dream Toy): Spacey Stacy. It was the last figure in CTM's man once legendary collection (though he still had the CT box art left, I bought that 2 months later), he hung on to it until the end. After I bought it, I almost hung up my gloves. I've never enjoyed taking photographs of a figurine more than this one. She is wonderful, a true rusVan grave good. Place her, and Novo Blue Thin Lynn, in my coffin.
