Keep us updated, bud ! A good friend of mine went to Japan last month and I plagued him with this BK story... He seeked them in a lot of stores in different neighbourhoods, in vain... Guess this is not the kind of stuff you can find in stores but in people's attics...

There has been some recent new developments I'm told. On a Facebook group or something? (Don't use FB)
I was told that some dude involved with creating the banner and names for the Bukimi Kun cards has been talking on there? He also posted pictures of open packs and a test sheet, that my friend showed me.
This is all very exciting

Again I found nothing I think most of these cards found Their way to the garbage can. It's unfortunate, but probably very true There is this guy on FB claiming to be the art director of Bukimin Kun series. Even has an uncut sheet and box. According to him these were considered anti-social goods and didn't have much awareness over in their homeland. With that in mind, they probably didn't sell well and the merchants probably just tossed them in the garbage. Am sure you will find them in their landfills underneath tons of trash and dirt. Or ashes if they burn trash. Such a shame.

He is not the artist for the wrapper/box /album. Hé was art director and created the bukimi kun logo and with team of 5/6 the names for the characters

So yeah, if this pic is for real then Hotaka is sitting on the complete 168 card set of BK (hopefully) still pack fresh after all these years. GOLDMINE!!! I'm sure there's multiples of NN and AB in there too. Hopefully this run also has the censored cards!!! That Bent Ben that was listed recently was sick. He needs to bust that box so each of us foreign collectors has a chance to get an original BK wrapper ;-)

Just a word of warning guys, be very careful when dealing with this guy on FB from Japan. Make sure he is 100% legit before buying his story o his stuff. It wouldn't take much to print all that BK stuff up and make it look legit. All I am saying is just be careful so you don't end up another scammer victim.

I have a hard time trusting anyone. Good thing I stay away from foreign stuff as there are a lot of scammers in that part of GPK collecting. Plus it is expensive.

Tons of foreign stuff is fake but a lot of collectors like the bootleg stuff. I've heard rumors that there was some reprinted BKs sold that looked pretty legit. It's a 'buyer beware' market.

Yeah, the foreign market is risky business. Sucks because I would like to get into it. There is this card I would love to have though that was made (I think it was) during the ANS foreign run. It had the alien monster from the movie Alien. It was not in the US release of the ANS line. Someone posted it a while back here. Real neat. Makes me wonder who the artist is on that piece.

"Woody Alien" Jimbo posted that pic in his collection thread for the 2008 Puerquitos Kids album de Colombia. Maybe one day someone will list some Puerquitos singles on ebay and u can grab that card. Would be cool to find out the name of the artist. There's more pics of the album here: garbagepailkids.proboards.com/thread/9096/jimbos-collection?page=13

Wow that would be epic if I could get a Dead Ted BK from one of those unopened packs. It's definitely a dream to get that and the Louco card in great shape...if anyone ever hears of those please let me know! :-)

Puts the newer Alien one that they made recently to shame. The new version is too childish and friendly in appearance while the one from the Puerquitos looks more menacing. I so want that card!
