Hey Gris, nice site! I didn't realize that you had submitted concepts to Topps that they used. Very cool! I liked the popsicle kid too, by the way. You're a really talented guy. Hey, check out my new website, www.marmacart.com . I did a couple of concepts for ANS7.

Thanks TCT and Angie. It's kind of cool to be apart of a GPK series and to have John Pound paint them is cool beans.

No offense, but i didn't really know what to expect before i saw your art. But your stuff is really tight and you do have some skill! Did you get concept credit for your pieces used in ANS7? If so, then it looks like i may have to obtain your autograph as well. Still need to get Cory's for his concepts also

Hey, check out my new website, www.marmacart.com . I did a couple of concepts for ANS7. Congrats Griz. ;D They should have taken the ice cream on a stick over the ice cream in a bucket though. This is 100% proof positive that people come up with the exact same ideas. I was talking to Luis a few days ago and he asked me if I came up with the soccer player concept. I told him no. He then proceeds to send me some of my old concept emails and here is a little excerpt from what I wrote: "Soccer Goalie He's jumping sideways trying to block a goal but the ball get's kicked through his torso and scores." I gave him that one almost two years ago but he never drew it. He drew it up in a different manner where a construction worker was getting fugged up by a wrecking ball. This was in the same email and is pretty interesting because Dave an me has a similar idea but a different subject: "A GPK torpedo [abstract] fired from a submarine. Torpedos have round heads." I didn't even remember I gave him that stuff. So, anyone who still thinks people steal stuff from others, it's not happening. It's just a conincidence.

The soccer idea came from a series I was working on back in 2004. I ended up not using it and when I was thinking of GPK concepts I just used it there. I think Pound did an excellent job on it.

Thanks stinger. I like the soccer one. In my concept I didn't put blood and guts in it because I thought that might detour Topps from considering it but they ended up adding blood and guts anyway.

The way Pound did it isn't they way I imagined it back in the day. I think it could have been much better in the face. He's just an ugly kid with an odd shaped head. Lots of ugly GPK in this series. I like my GPK cute like...well, like GPK.

A movie I worked on called Snow Angels Was released last Friday in limited release. It opens wider in the coming weeks. If it is playing in your area you should check it out. It's getting great reviews. I have yet to see it. Site www.snow-angels.com

Hey Mark, I love the new look! -TCT The new look is great. One suggestion is to get rid of the extra space on the left and right sides, so there is no horizontal scroll... that is, no horizontal scroll for those of us viewing the page at 1024x768. Without any page borders, you have about a width of 1000 pixels to work with (it probably would be safer to go with a maximum width of 980-990 pixels). I have to stop by more often. Thanks TCT and Wayne. Wayne, If you can I suggest viewing my site at 1440 x 900. It was really made for that resolution. My site at 1042 x 768 really isn't that great. The black space on the left and right is part of the design.

The black space on the left and right is part of the design. My display can only go up to 1042 x 768. According to data on Wikipedia, around 40% of people are using this resolution or lower: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution Maybe in a few more years, a lot more people will have monitors with higher resolutions. I just find a smaller resolution a bit limiting. I like working in a wider setting.

I'll take donations also.....I have a 17 inch monitor....oh yeah and there is no room on this desk for a bigger one......donations for a desk too.... my laptop has a wider monitor than my PC does lol that's sad...ok maybe not.....but it seems like it
