I know. That's a good thing for us. Why should I have to spend 50-60$ on a hobby bonus card. I would rather spend 15-25$ on ebay and buy them

Topps add hobby box bonus cards both in hobby and retail some of us live in states where there is no card shop available to pick up hobby and retail is our only option. I'm at the point where I'm going to stop buying any GPK and strictly buy from ebay. I've spent 1000's of dollars on shitty odds plus with all these pack searchers now and days I just pick up hot packs for hits, which mean you lose a great customer and these searchers are getting the money when it can be your company. Regardless of whether or not you have hobby stores in your neighborhood, you are better off buying your hobby boxes online. The only real use for a hobby stores is if you just want to pick up a few packs here or there. My local hobby shop charges $3/pack ($72/box) for the new sets. Even if I have to pay shipping, its cheaper to buy online.

yep, the lack of die cut and the ''flimsy''-ness of the new cards is my biggest issue

Maybe you could release some of those "non-existent" B plates from the FB series out of the vault to celebrate 30 years??

I bought a blaster box, but didn't realize just how thin they were immediately. I usually just buy sets and stick them in pages. In my last pack i got one of the 85' topps baseball card throwbacks printed on something similar to what the 85' cards were printed on... felt like i was holding a piece of a cardboard box compared to the gpks!

Hey Topps: Please go back to ONLY making the two tiered jumbo packs. This fat pack jumbo pack is STUPID EASY to search, the back is almost totally transparent. Would have bought all 12 today from Target, but ALL PACKS (gravity feed too) ALREADY SEARCHED!! Blaster boxes from here on out P.S. If I catch one of you assholes pack searching I'm going to sucker punch you in the back of the head and walk out before you get off the floor. I'm about ready to burn my bridges with retail anyhow, worse that could happen is an assault charge... and I'd be a GPK hero.

Really, I thought these were more difficult to search. Two layers of plastic, more difficult to feel stuff. Those previous jumbos were hands down the easiest packs to search. A see-through white window and extra space in the pocket to fan out the cards. Pack searchers wet dream.

To be fair, my memory could be failing me. The last "regular" jumbo packs I bought were from bns3 and I don't remember the backs being so transparent. I actually thought the fat pack had more space than the jumbo packs to move the cards around. It was like the packs were closed not sealed, but this could have been the result of the searcher diddling them around too.

What I would like topps to do, is make a rainbow set pack, let's say 9 colours , but not like golds and silver, hard to get. 1 of each colour in the same pack, that would make us collectors go for more sets and spend more money, that's what Topps is all about,

They should print symbols like a trophy, a wrench, the monopoly guy, etc. So then you could have more card to collect because you can have a set of reds with the wrench, a set of reds with the monopoly guy, and so on for each color and symbol. Man, we are talking about a master set that would consist of over 20,000,000 million cards!! Now that's real GPK collecting right there my friend!!! Where's that 'rock on' symbol at....oh there it is....... I wish sports cards, and trading cards in general, didn't traditionally have borders, so Topps wouldn't have that .250 border space to exploit us. Bleed the card images to the edge, fugg borders/frames/walls/compartments/categorizing/prisons... I thought GPK was about breaking down the walls?! Instead, its the walls and borders of the GPKs that define it. Call me racist, but I only like cards with white borders.

Gpk collectors pay a lot more just for plates and other single cards, when I say I want all them different colours, I don't want to pay silly money for them, that's why they should do a extra pack, as well as the normal stuff that do, I use to go mad on the gold sets but I think they r on the way out, f**k them golds now, u wouldn't believe me on how much it cost to collect fb3 compleat golds set+ all 10gold Adam bombs

FUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN GONNA BRING IN SO MANY NEW COLLECTORS... EVERYONE LOVES A CHALLENGE. I CAN'T WAIT TO FINISH MY SIMPLE RAINBOW FROM THIS PAST SERIES IN 10 YEARS!!

Topps could also just do away with the background and just put all the art on the border and just place the 1/1 stamps in the middle in large font so we can read them when we start losing our vision. The wood grain border thing is brilliant. We just need to help topps come up with all the different grain variations. Here's 12 parallel ideas they can work from for the 31st anniversary of gpk next year. Or they can wait till 2017, 30 years since the epic 1987 woodgrain baseball card set that came out that year. i personally prefer honduras rosewood myself. wood grain refractors showing 2 pieces of wood in the card are a must This could be how the gold cards look TAKE NOTES TOPPS WE WILL GIVE YOU ALL OUR MONIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awesome idea with the different wood grain types, I say they should also do away with the characters and put different types of gpk logos on the whole card with different fonts. Each logo should come in different colors so we have subsets to complete along with the different wood grain subsets. And don't forget those symbols in the lower right corner also. Man I hope they use our ideas!! WooHoo!!!

Some words they can use for the logos: Topps Incorporated Buy me Kids By the balls pals Kiddie cards i hope they also stamp all the cards in different colors. Even more parallels for us to collect!!! I think wer're at 81x #of logos x#of colors for each logo x#of symbols used x#of colors used for each symbol x#of foil stamp colors. Did i miss anything?

Only Chrome was good and Minikins was thoughtful for the Cheaptoy collectors. So far those two haven't had a next series announcement. Topps is really bad right now. I should at least be positive... they do have one saving grace and that is Joe Simko. He is the best artist currently in GPK and does some great work. Wished he sell more of his art though.

Bring back die-cut and make the cards thicker again. dial back on the number of cards in each set to what the os sets had so the cost of die-cutting evens out.
remove colored border cards from sets and offer them on your website. start producing trash boxes (helps pack searching and gives us more bang for our bucks) make the new sets like the old series (how many cards were in a set, huge posters, comics on back, no filler cards)
start telling all major retailers to not accept returns on gpk because people now buy all the packs and take them home to be dissected and taped up after all the good stuff is taken out.
I really crave the simplicity of the os sets and i wont be able to own any of the os sets any time soon so having something similar would fill that void.
