Hi everyone. GPKUG will turn 9 years old this Sunday 5/25. This has been a crazy as fugg year. So much has happened in the last 12 months. We've had a ton of GPK releases. We've had a ton of changes to the board structure. We've had a ton of changes in staffing We had a very successful UG Con in Chicago...which leads me to my next point... We've had more than our fair share of drama...with more to come!  I've learned over the years you can't have GPK without a healthy side of drama.  GPK ARE SERIOUS BUSINESS Y'ALL!  My favorite parts of year 9 was the UG coming together and raising $1400 for Dxtc's legal problem and meeting a bunch of people face-to-face for the first time in Chicago. I can't believe 9 years has gone by so fast. I want a re-do.  Post about your favorite things that happened this year or your overall favorite memories of the UG. |

My favorite thing about year 9 was meeting a great bunch of new collectors! There is something to be said about connecting with people far away who have the same interests as you and who you can spend hours and hours just writing back and forth. Happy 9th UG! Looking forward to an awesome 10th!

Pity it took me 8 1/2 years to find it but the last 6 months or so has been great. Rediscovered GPK and didn't realise at the time how popular they still are. Sharing a passion / hobby with people literally all over the world, amazing how friendly the members are, most of us have never met each other, or ever will but we have all come together with a common interest Here's to at least another 9 years  LONG LIVE GPKUG.   |

My favorite parts of year 9 was finding and joining the UG and meeting the rest of the Garbage Gang!
I got back in to GPK in around 2005 so I dont know how I missed this place for all those years, anyways I am here now and here to stay. I want to Trade and get to know even more of you's coz in the short time I have been here I have been made to feel welcome and met some good awesome like minded people that I will stay friends with.
Since I have been here I have learned a lot and seen some outstanding collections that drives me to want more and more GPK (my need list keeps growing and growing)

Just like collecting GPK back in the day did, these cards have connected me with friends i otherwise wouldn't have known!
