That is sick dustin right down to the cracks which i like better than the original it gives a sense of depth that it lacked and almost a subtle nod to graffiti artist in the way they were done adam looks great the painting just appeals on so many levels awesome Job man awesome

Thanks dxtc0187! Adam has got to be one of the more challenging GPKs, it took 2 nights to do, I used 100% acrylic paints and I think it came out rather cool! Rock on and thanks for the cool comment!

I am not super proud of these but I drew these super rough sketches trying to get a better feel of the head compositions.. I was seeing how far you can take the placements of the eyes and mouth... I find the ones where the eyes, nose and mouth fit into a small square makes it look a little more correct, for me this is all for fun and not to be taken too seriously, I will post more as I complete them to compare the improvements... i tried to draw some gpk's for the first time and started with the heads and it's not easy.... I use too many lines when i draw so it looks like an etch-a-sketch drawing for me. You did a great job with those. Did you use any reference pictures to make those? if so which ones?

greghoriblue! I hope to see more of your creations, I do love the vivid colors! THANKS! @ gpkcollector, Thanks! yes I used some reference photos from the book and online some, I didn't take those "sketch heads" seriously but I felt it gave me a better feel of drawing the faces more, I like all the expressions! as far as the paints I am using they are basic "art alternatives" studio acrylics. Rock on!

I just finished up this painting of Adam Bomb (Blasted Billy) my very first try at painting a GPK on a 5 inch x 7 inch surface. I know firsthand, this is not easy on this scale. Nice job of layering, Pound did TONS of it too, and parts of this painting remind me of his style, especially your work near the cloud. Pound was also master of reflected light. Look carefully at the skin of his characters-AMAZING, he was a true master illustrator! Great first try!

I just finished up this painting of Adam Bomb (Blasted Billy) my very first try at painting a GPK on a 5 inch x 7 inch surface. Great first try! Probably would be pretty good for a second try too. I really like the effect that airbrushing gives. Pound did a lot with that tool and some of it's effects are just too hard/ impossible to duplicate with a watercolor marker or paint pen. You did a great job here and it is very impressive.

Well done Dustin... You have done quite a bit lately... I really liked your sketches of the faces... It is the most important part of nailing the look of OS. And so many artists cannot do it. As an artist myself, I too find it ironically hard to capture the CPK look, but you did well. Keep up the amazing work. Maybe one day we can see your concepts in a future set.

Hi Greghoriblue! Your art has improved off the scale! I haven't been totally idle while I've been away and have come up with a few new concepts. I'll try to get access to a scanner and post them up.
