a quick concept sketch I did from scratch, its an idea I had bouncing around my head (no pun intended) I was struggling whether to do the actual "jack puppet" or the brain, I went with the brain because it makes it extra gross. other name ideas (Hank Crank, Toy Roy) I am thinking of doing a painting of this one as this was done in about 40 minutes from start to finish (rough sketch) Attachments:

thanks greghoriblue, alice island was real fun to do! I used pencils and I think I should start trying to paint some, since no gpks are done in pencil that I am aware of. Keep up the great work yourself greghoriblue!

 I am not super proud of these but I drew these super rough sketches trying to get a better feel of the head compositions.. I was seeing how far you can take the placements of the eyes and mouth... I find the ones where the eyes, nose and mouth fit into a small square makes it look a little more correct, for me this is all for fun and not to be taken too seriously, I will post more as I complete them to compare the improvements... Nice works. Some are really nice.
When I draw a G.P.K. I make an ovale for the face. Then cheeks, eyes, brows, nose, ears and hair.

thank you greghoriblue I admit they are a little weak but I learned a bunch drawing them, the paper was 8x11 and each head was around 1 inch in size, I used a "col-erase" light blue pencil and desaturated it in photoshop to create the grey scale look, I'll post more as I do them.
