Glad to see these pics up again. The colors must be incredible in person on the shopping carter.
Looks like the ground chuck was never trimmed down by topps and there are notes?
Will you post a pic of the whole board?

Will you post a pic of the whole board? It appears Warhola left a white border on some pieces, I have not had Super marcus, or Ground Chuck framed. I like Super marcus as its by Warhola, and his Uncle Andy Warhol was famous for Super Market paintings

Most of the notes were just other name suggestions. If you look at some of the unpublished finals on Aarons website you can see the notes are still there. What do the notes say on ground chuck?

Its history in the piece that they removed. Anyways great collection of art Dusan

I wish they never cut them down. Its history in the piece that they removed. Anyways great collection of art Dusan Yea, the little notes and changes they make are pretty interesting. Billo noticed that OS6 #222 had the blue shoelaces changed from the color rough to the final. I think he said it looked like Pound painted the blue laces on the final and then painted white over top. I would be interested to know why the change was made.

Awesome pieces!!! I looove hot Doug!, one of my favorites from os5! I googled the #222 image, but I don't see any shoelaces, are you sure you have the right piece? The blue lines on the sides of the shoes were painted over solid white for the final.

great image, it looks like the blue lines were the 'logo' of the shoes, and not shoelaces, maybe its not on the final because of branding That's a good point, they may have been afraid it would be viewed as a logo and were trying to avoid another lawsuit at all costs. I believe by the 6th series they were heavily involved in the lawsuit by Coleco.

I believe by the 6th series they were heavily involved in the lawsuit by Coleco. That would be an odd reason because several pieces from series 6-9 had the blue lines after that final. I know Adam bomb as well as a few others only have the white shoes so I doubt it was for the lawsuit. He might have just thought they looked better without. I did always think it was odd that pound put the spring on the top of his head instead of where his neck was also.

I did always think it was odd that pound put the spring on the top of his head instead of where his neck was also. I think he did that to incorporate the effect of a Slinky going down the steps. It does look odd but I don't see how it could be done any different unless he flipped the character around from top to bottom. And even then it would be difficult to make it look right.
