Just sitting here bored and figured I would start a thread to find out what everyone's all time #1 favorite GPK is. We all know that Jay Decay, Adam Bomb, and Nasty Nick, are some iconic GPKs but that doesn't necessarily mean those three are everyone's personal favorite, so throw out that GPK that you favor the mostest of all. Throw a pic up too if you so desire

My #1 GPK is Stuffed Stephen. It's a very underrated GPK imo. Pound really captured the essence of what it's like to be a scarecrow and combined that with what GPKs are all about, and he absolutely nailed the artwork. I used to own the color and pencil, but I would pay generously for the final. Unfortunately it's now in a collection that has a one way door, but at least it's on display here at the UG for all to appreciate. Side note - the name is misspelled but I blame that on Topps

I really like the frog in Weird Wendy, and as a Veteran, love the Mad Mike & Brett Vet.
My son's favorite is Jolly Roger, 5 yr old boys love them some pirates.

Max Axe / Deadly Dudley. In my opinion he's one of the best examples of the Garbage Pail Kids' ability to contrast the cute design of its characters with things that could be considered gross or horrific. There are elements to the art that are goofy such as the snaggletooth and the yarn chest hair, as well as ones which are legitimately scary like the severed body parts or the blood dripping from the axe. The use of the blood red sky as a background amplifies that deathly feeling. On top of all that, it's got those Frazetta overtones, which is pretty cool.

I would have to pick from the mighty OS2 #58 Cracked Jack/Soft Boiled Sam. The GPK face is flawless and serene while his body is abstract and surreal without being too busy. Crazy cartoon looking egg kid with a realistic chicken popping out of his head just really works. The detail is so amazing hes a great example that looks 3D i and really pops in stark contrast to the flat look on a lot of the newer series art.

Two of my all-time favorites are Nat Nerd and Deaf Geoff.
However, Mugged Marcus is the first GPK I had ever seen, so he'd have to take my #1 spot.

Why do you have to own the best of every series final art?? The only critique I would have for this guy is they missed a golden opportunity to use the name Dyn-O-Mike.

That's so tough to pick just one card ! The ultimate piece for the French fan that I am would be Explorin' Norman. I know it's just considered as an ordinary card for most of the US collectors but this guy was everywhere in France in the late 80's... The art is objectively pretty weak overall but this is the first image that I have in my head when I hear about Les Crados. I would definitely be able to sweat blood and tears to get the final art... but I guess it will never happen...

So hard to pick just one!, but its pretty clear from this thread the UG has good taste! Formalde Heide, Hot Doug, and just about every OS3 for me , i'll give it a bit more thought and try to narrow it to just one.

I still have that French item you helped me to get, that is so far the best item I have ever own, even more than Japanese/Israeli stuff!!!
