Time ago I found a Les crados round pins display. It contains around 80 pins and it is still sealed! (Sorry for the low resolution image, but it is a les "crados" image so it has to be UGLY ) One of those displays sold recently on eBay France. Here’s the link: r.ebay.com/HikKirThis pin display sparked a discussion on the Foreign GPK FB group whether these “Crado” pins are bootleg rather than official (should say Les Crados), but nobody could give a definite answer. Any idea?

The seller had 2 displays, I bought one the other one is probably in the hands of another lucky collector 😁 I have always thought these pins were official. We should hunt for some magazines/commercials about them 😁 The plastic covering the display looks very old and dirty, so it is possible these pins came out during the same time of the first les crados series.

Any idea? Hey guys, The thing which could look like a typo ("Crado" instead of "Crados") is actually correct, grammatically speaking. Here, the word is interpreted in the singular number : 1 crado, several crados. The sentence "Touche pas à mon crado" (Don't touch my Garbage Pail Kid) is a pun which is a reference to a slogan from the 80's :
"Touche pas à mon pote" (Don't touch my buddy) is a slogan used in the mid 80's by a French anti-racist association. This famous slogan has been distorted MANY times since then.
I think these badges are no bootlegs and that they were available in France back then. I didn't have these when I was a kid though (just had some Crados pin's).
Hope that it helps !

Thanks for the info. I think the biggest question was whether that “Crado” Display is official. It looks bootleg AF compared to the Les Crados pins display that has Norman on it and Topps copyright, etc.

I had both the displays with all of the pins as well. The Explorin' Norman display is a very light carton display. This other red display is not cool as the Explorin' Norman one, but I think it is legit. It is heavier and it is made of probably hard plastic. I write probably because the red cover actually covers all of the display, and the only thing left out is the writing "Touche pas etc..." that is made of hard plastic. The plastic wrap outside is literally sealed, so there is no way of opening it unless using scissors. My opinion/two cents: it was probably sold/delivered at newsstands, and the newsvendors had to cut the plastic wrap, and pin the pin on the red cover. Then waiting for French kids raiding the newsstand (I wish I could go back to that time I miss buying gpk cards from the newsstand ).

On the left we have a re-entry up the charts for this rarely seen, but classic bootleg collector reference book/album from Romania! and to the right of that, we have a brand new entry into this chart.... a tiny album from Colombia that has only 4 mini stickers per side. More pics in my thread.
