So I've been playing around with some gif creator apps in order to come up with a unique way to present my foreign GPKs. Since my Sgorbions collection is the most massive and diverse of all the foreign releases that I've obtained I figured SG would be the perfect series to utilize some new tech. Here's 28 frames of Sgorbions items in a loop that I've uploaded to YouTube. Watch the Italian collection accumulate the same way it was built over the years. Keep your eyes peeled for rarities and I've also thrown a few tricks in there hehe. Enjoy :-)
Viva l'Italia! Continuare a raccolta :-)
More to come.....

Fantastico Lucypher! love the creativity or how to resemble your effort and sourcing over time, now thats how to do it!
You need to find yourself a s4 pack, unless I missed it. Great Scorbs collection. The Italian collectors will be proud.
looking forward to all your stuff shown like that eh! (try working on the focus of the pics, I wanted to see more detail when I kept watching it)

(try working on the focus of the pics, I wanted to see more detail when I kept watching it) Thanks man! The creative juices were flowing over the weekend haha. I'm sure you felt the same way putting together that epic GPK world domination map! Yes! I definitely need an SG4 pack or wrapper and a SG4 box. The imitici box is my pseudo-SG4 box for now lol. Many other items are on the list too like Metal pins pack/wrapper and box, SG Calendar, SG fanny-pack, and many others that hopefully will surface one day! As for the pic resolution, I ran into some technical difficulties when trying to create with gif with 28 hi-res pics. The dumb app kept crashing so I had to reduce the resolution of all the pics. Then when uploading to YouTube the gif got compressed even further. Gonna make a version 2.0 eventually and find a way to create it without degradation of image quality. Here's what one of the original pics looked like in the beginning: Also need to buy a selfie stick to keep the camera in the same exact spot everytime haha. Way to hard to hard to keep centered manually.

LuCypher do you have a picture of the "SG fanny-pack"? I think there's a pic of a loose one somewhere in the rare items thread but here's the ad for it on the back of the SG4 album for "Marsupio Sgorbions". Haha. I'm just now remembering that "fanny-pack" would have a TOTALLY different meaning over in Europe than it does here lol. This SG pic is safe for work I promise :-)

Regarding US GPK rarities, this is probably one of the rarest items and it is from the Imperial collection. Behold! Two boxed French-Canadian Popups/Sauteurs, Mona Loser & Blasted Billy, owned by Imperial collector Ben Harter: Coolest GPK box ever! They basically took all of the images from the Popups on card and condensed them to fit all 6 sides of the boxed variation packaging. More pics here: gpkworld.com/GPKImperial.htm

Sgorbions 3rd Series Back Variation advertising/showing the never seen before or pretty rare SG3 super pack of 15 cards.ย Picked up an SG3 lot recently and found an ad for the Sgorbions T-Shirts on the back of one of them. Not as cool as the SG3 superbusta pack but interesting back variation nonetheless:

Turkey Day rarities commence! In the spirit of giving during the holiday season here's a Sgorbions Holidays balloon pack that Kblaze threw in as a bonus. The little white sticker is written in Italian. Grazie! ๐

Presenting an Israeli Havurat Hazevel Promo Card that came in the Masheo Magazine circa late 1987 in Israel. It has curved corners like a playing card and is thicker than a regular Israeli card. I also don't think it is a sticker.

I need help with this one UG. Picked up these Les Crados gum cards recently and they are on little cardboard pieces. Either the previous owner got creative and stuck them on the cardboard or they were printed like that. Most likely the former. Haven't tried to peel one off to see if they're the stickers as I didn't want to ruin any. Has anybody ever seen them like this? I have one Crados loose gum insert with print on the back (left) and 10 of the ones on cardboard: Close-up:

Sweet find.
Awesome display item. Now you need to fill it up.
I don't remember specifically these as a kid but I feel like I found some GPK stuff at Earnest which was a hardware chain in WA state. What is Eckhards? Drug store?

Yeah. Similar to F&M and Woolworth, but closer to perry drugs, arbor drugs (cvs), etc.
I remember they would keep them up front by the cash registers on the way out. Sometimes in the back by the pharmacy. I usually avoided the imperial items as a kid cause I thought they were jenky and not offical product! Lol

What is Eckhards? Drug store? Thanks Jimbo! Never thought I'd find one of these. Def plan on filling it up! Came with 26 small, I had about 10 small and 3 big loose bounce balls so not too far away. ๐ค Eckerd got bought out by Rite-Aid maybe a decade ago. I remember buying GPK packs from Eckerd drug stores growing up but don't recall seeing Imperial items there.

Bad ass find Henry. That is a sweet GPK item. Back in the 80s I totally would've rocked that. tommy4ya actually really likes fanny packs. Here is a recent pic of him and his significant other.

Whats the hell do you mean?? Back in the 80s?? The fanny is a lifetime commitment. Also take this down, this pic of me has to be months old. I'm doing more of a Grecio thing, adding bandannas and leather jacket to my sweet ensemble.
