Those are real, the others were fake using the format of the second peruvian series, these at least have the correct format and number from the first series. Of course, is a Peruvian seller with 0 feedback anyone who bids has to know it could be possible a fraud maybe you will never get your items but at least this time the guy in charge to list the item did a great job using the correct info. |

Hi all,. Speaking about: pitt2000nj i sent this guy a message on Ebay to tell him he was selling fake cards from Peru. A couple of messages went back and forth. He told me he bought a whole lot of cards from decoleccion2011 but wanted to get rid of the fake cards. My feeling is that this guy is not part of the Peru card scam. He is 100% aware that they are fake cards and bought them from decollecion for the sole purpose to resell them. He is obviously going to tell you otherwise... While he may not be in official cahoots with the guy from peru, they are both selling counterfeits, knowingly. He already knew they were fake based on his answer. Thanks for your replies. Belief it or not but i have to send paypal a fax with the proof (who is still using a fax these days!?) I'll contact underakillingmoon whether or not he want to send me some photos of his original album the more proof i have the better Let us know what Ebay/Paypal say. If you need more pictures of the albums or cards let me know, i have the full set of them but can't do anything at the moment. Hopefully the pictures from UKM will suffice for the time being. Keep us updated This is Pitt2000NJ and I just wanted to clear my name here. I'm new to the UG but have been a GPK collector since I was a kid, back in the 80s. I joined eBay back in 2010 (I think) and have enjoyed getting back into collecting. I've made some good contacts/friends along the way as well. I happened to search for my eBay username as I recognized another user's name and was curious if my name was mentioned, and stumbled upon this comment. It's been almost 2 years since that Peru transaction, but I wanted to let everyone know what happened (if anyone still cares!?). I bought a couple lots of Adam/Nick from that "shady" seller, and I had no idea they were fake cards. I intended to keep about half and then sell the other half (to hopefully get back what I paid in shipping fees). Once they were listed, someone reached out (maybe Tim?) and told me he thought they were fakes. Since I didn't want to have fakes in my collection, I decided to sell them all. However, since I did not know for sure they were fakes, I simply made a note in my listing, saying something to the extent that I didn't know if they are real or fake. So, it was then up to the buyer to decide. In the end, I sold all of them, I believe for about what I paid (which wasn't even much). The whole thing bothered me and I've stayed away from cards that might be fake, and are not Topps licensed. As for those Diaz sketches, I think the buyer cancelled or didn't pay, so I relisted them. I have 100% eBay feedback and would like people on here to know I'm trustworthy, for possible trades. If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer them about this, but I think I made it pretty clear what happened. |
