So I recently purchased this OS5 Error Lot off eBay (Seller had multiple listings up anywhere between 300-800 for 125 of them), I ended up throwing out a number I was comfortable paying, and now I am the owner of this lot. Based on the quality of the prints (back and front), I'm pretty confident that these are legit, but besides verifying the print quality, as well as the material they're printed on (sticker + card stock), is there a way to absolutely verify the authenticity of these items? I can post pictures if anyone is interested in seeing some of them.

Not sure there’s a way, since these were supposed to go in the trash.

These are "factory rejects", not from packs, but rather given out to Topps employees back in the day. I own some similar cards as well.

These were cut up from sheets for sure. Most came from seller John (I forget his last name) he has had tons of ndc series 5 sheets, both error and good condition.
I remember purchasing sheets from him in early 2000 for around $12 each.
Hope this helps

That's quite a persuasive write up that guy has given!
However [even] I have some partially cut 5th series sheets so I don't think they are so rare, in my uninformed opinion...Isliced up a load of mine but didn;t have enough to complet a set - they too are pre-cut rejects to do various ink flaws etc.
I also just purchased a near set of OS4 rejects, again with no die cuts.

I recently bought something from the seller mentioned above and he threw in some OS6 non die cut cards with wrong backs. I've seen NDC of OS4, OS5, OS15, but never OS6. Wonder if anyone has a whole set of those?

Just to add to this Non Die Cut discussion...a few months ago I bought a box of mixed packs from that old timer who sells the Series 5 NDC sets/sheets. Well, one of my sons just got into GPKs and I let him open some of those packs. Yesterday I looked through his cards and noticed series 6 NDC!
Has anyone ever heard of pulling series 4, 5 or 6 from actual packs? I thought they were only cut from reject sheets. I have another few packs of 6 that I'm now considering opening.

I have not heard of this, but it's awesome! You must have soiled your britches when you found them. Didn't you also buy an NDC OS 4 or OS 5 set recently? I could be mistaken, but if that was you, then you are a magnet for NDCs!

A lot of those had discolored cards, so it was challenging to find a truly mint set. I only came across one lot of NDC OS4s and kept only my favorite characters.
