Hi,
I am looking to buy a pencil art, color rough and final art combo that meets a specific set of requirements. It has to be: -by John Pound -pre-OS10 -a kid (not an abstract piece)
I am willing to pay cash, or trade my OS9 Ill Jill final plus cash.
Please PM me if interested.
Thanks!

I want to pair that with a pencil/rough/final of a kid, and then call it a day on my OS art collecting.

Opie is a sponge, but has sponge-arms and sponge-legs, so he is also a kid. And Jill is shaped like a kid but is made out of quilt-material. So both of my pieces are hybrid kids/objects. Is that what you meant? If so, that's okay. I still want a pencil/rough/final combo of a kid.

It is painful to look at these sold pages, because they are showing me all the awesome art I will never own. I missed the boat not only on the finals but also on the color roughs. Now I'm sad.

I'm listening to Everybody Hurts while looking at this one: I bought a few roughs from Pound over the years. He stays on top of it and continually raises prices. The first pencil and color rough I bought cost $400 combined. That Roy Bot is cool. I'm glad he decided against the chrome head for the final.

I too am glad the final doesn't have a chrome head, but it does make the rough distinctive. How much is too much for this rough today? Is $4000 a crazy price?

I've seen crazier though. So what is a reasonable price range for this rough? More generally, I'd like to see current price ranges for the roughs of the early series (OS1-OS5). We have a basic price range for finals from each series, but I don't know that I've seen the same for roughs.

Wow, very cool to see all those sold roughs! Where the heck are they now!? You'd think they would pop up for re-sale every once in a while. I'd say that Roy Bot would easily fetch $1,000 but maybe closer to $2,000. BUT, if you have a crazy GPK and Transformer fan, the sky is the limit.

So where is it?? I didn't say it wouldn't sell for $4K. I just think that's a crazy price. I wouldn't pay $1K for it, but I'm not into roughs unless the final doesn't exist. I only own 2 roughs myself. An OS16 one and an ANS5 one that is part of a progression framing deal. The bottom line though. It's worth how much someone is willing to pay. EDIT: Oops, I have 3 roughs. I forgot I had the rough for ANS4 Hollow Wayne. I haven't gotten around to deciding if I want to sell it yet.

Speaking of "hidden" Pound pages, I stumbled upon this, while Googling Crazy Casey images, and freaked out: www.poundart.com/gpk/roughs/s16/index.htmlI would LOVE to own this Crazy Casey color rough, and it said only $350! I immediately emailed Mr Pound who told me it was sold and those prices are outdated

You didn't take a screen capture by any chance, did you? I'd love to see what was on that page!

Try again - it still works for me. Yeah, I don't know why, but it isn't working for me. Maybe because I am using a tablet? And I don't mean like an iPad. I mean a stone slab used for inscriptions. Could that be the problem?
